Kenmore Properties

This review is specific to Jari at Kenmore Properties.
My agent, Jari, was extremely helpful. I was able to have an apartment showing, get approved, and sign a lease in one week.
She wanted to get the best apartment for me and made the process as painless as possible. She was never pushy and never asked me to compromise, but was very realistic about what I could get within my budget. I ended up finding my dream apartment, a solid management team and all around safety. I would recommend Jari’s professionalism to anyone looking to find an apartment in the Boston area!

I had the best experience with Kenmore Properties. My broker’s name was AJ, and if all of Kenmore’s agents are as attentive and helpful as AJ, I would never look for another agency. He was incredibly flexible and responsive: he worked around our schedule to show us apartments and then was so available when we had questions about the application process. He went from responding to my texts at 1am as I filled out the application to meeting me at 8:30 the next morning so I could hand in the application before work. His attentiveness and willingness to work with us made the whole process feel easy.
The best part about working with AJ is that, unlike other realtors, it didn’t feel like he was trying to sell us something. He was really only interested in helping us find the perfect place for us, and then helping us get it.
I couldn’t recommend working with AJ more.

I had Alicia as my realtor and she was great. Throughout the process I was never 100% positive I wanted to rent a studio. I was also leaning towards buying and renting 2 bedroom. Alicia always kept in touch, where I’ve had experience with most realtors giving up if you’re not 100% (especially for a September 1^st move-​in).
She was great. I liked Kenmore Properties too since I didn’t have to pay all dues/​fees at once, just first month and the rest 1 month before move-​in. I definitely recommend them (and Alicia) if you’re looking for a Fenway/​Kenmore apartment.

After going through my fair share of brokers, like 7 of them with various rental/​broker agencies, during my recent apartment search, Alicia and Kenmore Properties were a godsend.
The initial apartment I wanted to see was rented but we remained in touch and she was to keep me updated of anything she came across that I’d like.
Anyway, I found an apartment I wanted to see, sent her the link, and she’d not only got back to me that day, she was able to show it to me, and I put my application in (it was the 4^th application I placed, so I was ready to be done). I didn’t feel pressured into making my decision either, which was nice. I realize brokers are working for a fee, but pressuring someone into renting, is not the way to go.
Also, it’s worth it to note, unlike some BS broker places, with your application you’re only expected to submit first month’s rent. 1 place I used required EVERYTHING upfront which makes no damn sense — if the apartment isn’t even mine, there is no way I’m writing a check for that much money.
