I would give 4 or 5 stars but only 2 because they only gave 1 tiny blue cheese with a buffalo chicken calzone. Are you serious? Cost cutting at its finest. I will continue going to village or pizzeria 260.

Buffalo chicken pizza is hands down best thing ever. Their crust is perfect ratio of crispy outside and soft on the inside.

Sometimes it gets pretty busy for breakfast. Reasonable prices, especially for southie. Pizza is awesome as well as the grinders. My go to for breakfast is the Irish eggs Benny, it used to be a special but has become so popular they have put it on the menu! Family owned place, small town vibe.

For me the pizza is the best in Southie! Honestly, I have never had anything bad here since I moved to Southie over 10 years ago. My favorites are chicken broccoli and ziti(garlic bread)… turkey tips, all desserts(yeah, yeah, yeah)… really nice people work here and they take pride in their food! I consider it my go to place.

Love L street. Always great service(delivery or pick up) and the food is a sure bet. Their Greek salad is my favorite in Southie, and I LOVE Greek salad. Pizza is fantastic. I love just a simple cheese. I also love strolling over here for a simple hassle free brunch.

This place is going to make me FAT! The menu is diverse and simple with a quality that is always top notch. I have to admit I order from here WAY to much. LOSE of a star for not being open Sundays.

Ordered a large hamburger pizza, it arrived as scheduled, opened box and found cheese and oil, pulled slices and they broke apart, meat fell off slices, my clothing wore most of the oil drippings. Next time I’ll order from Dominos

Good greasy spoon! Pizza here is pretty good, several different options. You can also get breakfast all day! They do deliveries after a certain time which is good. If you get table service, you feel like family! Turkey club is yummy. Good taste of Southie!

Great local breakfast and lunch diner. Nice new renovation. You can have a glass of wine or beer with your lunch or dinner.

Reviewing only for the pizzas. We have always had takeout pizza. Never disappointed. That’s the staple for us. Especially the meat lovers. Or any large with toppings of our choice. One of these days we will have to order something else. I will come back and update the rating /review accordingly. As of now — the go to place for take out pizza(don’t think they deliver — I could be wrong).

As soon as you walk in you can’t help but notice the delicious smell of the place. The waitress greeted us promptly and took our drink order. We weren’t anticipating such a small place having beer and wine but they did, and she brought us over our 2 glasses of chianti, bread and waters within the first 5 minutes of sitting down. The mozzarella sticks were just what we were craving for an app and came with tasty marinara sauce to dip them in. I ordered the shrimp scampi while my boyfriend got the chicken marsala. Everything was delicious! Portion sizes were big enough that we each had our left overs as lunch today. Décor inside the place was really cool. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is the place to get breakfast in the 2125 area. Not many places offer breakfast in this area but one of the few places that does offer it does it right. The corned beef hash with two eggs is an enormous plate of food. Their pancakes and french toast are huge! I’ve only gotten delivery from this place, but I want to visit the store itself. They don’t deliver before 11 am but it’s worth the wait. The prices are really reasonable.

This is an awesome little sit-down restaurant, and take-out pizzeria on the side. I wandered in here starving one evening, and found the place to be completely deserted at 6pm! But not for long, the place had filled up to capacity by 7:30, and there was good reason for that! L St Diner is a warm and cozy place, that is small enough to feel like you have found a little gem in South Boston. My waitress was kind and attentive. There are a few wines available, and she recommended one based on it being«new», which was odd, but turned out to be good anyway. The salad was a monster bowl of iceberg and hothouse tomatoes, as expected. The pizza was made within 15 minutes, as ordered, and it was great! Take-out pizza a month later was also great!

A little odd and outdated if you dine in, but in my opinion this place makes the best pizzas in South Boston. I miss this place.

Awesome buffalo chicken calzone! Super fresh mozzarella and great dough. Free delivery and pretty cheap compared to other Southie pizzerias.

After two in our party were politely declined seating at a restaurant nearby, we decided take-out from L Street was a better option. Walked in, placed an order, waited around, and left with more pizza and calzone than we knew what to do with. Note: it’s apparently very easy to over-order here, and unless you’re feeding an army small calzones are probably just fine. We on the other hand ended up with 2 large calzones and a large pizza to feed only five people… two of which were asleep when we arrived back at the house. So that amount of food only had three possible fates — dinner that night, breakfast the next morning, or left out on the counter(for what wouldn’t even fit in the refrigerator!) We had the buffalo chicken and chicken parm calzones, and the supreme pizza(pepperoni, hamburger, sausace, tomato, onion, peppers & mushrooms). Oh, and also the mozzarella sticks. Definitely some of the tastiest, largest eats I’ve had for a while.

I can’t understand why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars… My boyfriend and I are pizza fanatics and have had a hard time finding a place we love since moving to Southie. One year and too many average pizzas later came L Street. Their pizza is perfection. And not just because its close and we usually prefer delivery. My favorite style of pizza compares to Regina, papa G’s, Sbarros… And you definitely get that sweet kind of flavor here. Customer service is always fast, friendly and on point… And delivery is pretty fast. If you’re in Southie, make sure you try this pizza; you will not be disappointed.

We got take away and I got the grilled veggie sandwich which came with fries. The cheese was not dispersed well in the sandwich, as it was only on the front part of half the sandwich, and the pocket it was in was uncooked so it just fell apart the minute I picked it up. But – it was good. And the fries were great. Got a side of cheese garlic bread and the cheese was only on part of it(again…) and the bread was a bit too crusty and thick for someone to take bites of it. Looking at the other reviews, maybe mine just got messed up because of driving since it was just the cheese, but it did not seem like it would have been enough at any point to cover the sandwich or the bread. My friend who ordered said the guy on the phone was kinda rude, so he didn’t want to call back and ask for a larger size of his food.
