Dr. Nelson has been my dentist for many years. I had Dr. Grove (also of Children’s), who was great, but he moved back to Minnesota :-(. Anyway, Dr. Nelson is very good, but when you call the above number, you’re on hold forever! She specializes in pediatric dentistry as well as dentistry for special needs and medically complex patients. After hours on call coverage (after 5PM, nights, holidays, and weekends) is available by calling the Children’s page operator at 617−355−6363 and asking to have the dentist on call paged. The office staff are at lunch from 12−1PM. She only sees patients in Boston. Interpreters for many languages, including American Sign Language, can be arranged, preferably with advance notice.
Quick FYI: three buses, the CT2, CT3, and 47 stop right across the street from the Children’s main entrance. All provide service to the Ruggles stop on the Orange Line.
