Nothing like the Lucky’s in Fort Point — I love that place! They definitely have some kinks to work out since opening. The food here is hit or miss, unlike the original Lucky’s where the food will always surprise you with how good it is. I got clam chowder with hummus and veggies. The hummus was just AWFUL. No flavor at all, even after adding salt and pepper. There was also a very peculiar taste in the hummus… Almost like a mildew taste. I didn’t even get halfway through it, and I’m a love the shit outta some hummus. Stay away from it. The clam chowder was good, and the beer was good. But far from the quality at the original Lucky’s.

There is airport food. We all know it. But these guys managed to make it even worse. If you don’t like airplane toilets don’t eat here. Cause it is where you will spend moat of your trip.

Pseudo Boston dive bar at the airport? It’s funky and has an interesting atmosphere. But just like any Boston dive bar and the business of the airport you can expect a lack of service. The good: you have a great beer selection at 11AM. Just don’t expect much from the food.

Not overly impressed with Lucky’s. I asked if the server recommended the chips and salsa or the hummus app, and she said their hummus want very good. Went with the chips, which they claim to be house made, but they tasted like stale chips from a bag to me. The guy sitting next to me had ordered the Mac and cheese, which I was considering until he told me it wasn’t very good. I went with the veggie burger instead. It came out perfectly cooked on one side, and charred beyond recognition on the other side. Tasted like I was eating a charcoal brick. Unfortunately it took forever before the server came back to check on me. She happily had it remade though. On the plus side, there are several vegetarian options. On the negative side, nothing I had blew me away in taste.

Second time here in a week with a lot of travel. Used to regard Lucky’s as a good spot at the airport. Good bar and good quick bar food. They still have a decent beer and drinks selection but this place has lost it’s mojo. Food is weak. Sauces and dressings served in tiny cups. Waitress told me she«always» has to bring more. My Greek salad must have been made 2 – 3 days ago. Carrots that came with our table’s tenders(they were out of wings) were unpeeled and the celery was unwashed and untrimmed. Our waitress was doing her best, but struggling mightily with the number of tables. Sad to see Lucky’s star fall so far.

Terrible service by the bartender. She was unpleasant and even poured my beer out before I was done. Wears an Adidas armband. Pass.

My wife and I got a bite to eat and some drinks at Lucky’s while at Boston Logan Airport during a layover on our way to visit England. I have to say our experience was good overall and this is certainly somewhere I would come to again. First off, I have to say the locals here were so nice and easy to talk to, including our waitress who was very fun and friendly. Boston is on our bucket list of cities to visit for vacation and I’ve always been told it’s a very friendly city — I’m convinced! The service we received was great and very fast on both the food and drink orders. Food was also good and hit the spot. We got a quesadilla and some boneless buffalo wings both of which were really good for bar food in an airport. Certainly no complaints on this front either. It also has a nice open ambience overall which is quite inviting. It does make it a little noisy as a result but that’s really a minor thing. We had several good conversations here with people without difficulty.

Do I have to give it one star? Two drinks(beer and wine) and a plate of nachos was $ 40. The nachos were ok, but it took us 3 tries to get the right ones. Bar stool seating was wobbly and uncomfortable. Not enough servers for a busy Saturday. It e as just zbsx.

Had I known there were other eateries at gates close by, I would’ve went there. The cashier was so nice and I had a taste for a milkshake and recommended a spot to me and even told me how to get there. My fries were warm, not hot and looked like they’d been refried. The turkey burger was a small patty, but surprisingly tasty. It could’ve been the chipotle sauce they squeezed on. For $ 13, I was expecting a little more, but oh well, we can’t score every time.

Had the deviled eggs, which were supposedly spiked with blue cheese and siracha, both flavored almost non-existant. For 8 dollars(6 deviled eggs, I.e. 3 eggs) a big overkill. Also got the southwest chicken salad. It was pretty good, but it was not a 13 dollar salad. Service was good, but the price point is too high for the experience or flavor here.

I really wish I’d checked the Unilocal reviews first. I sat at the bar, ordered chips/salsa and tacos. The bartender was nice but not aware of the bar — head down, never paying attention except to whatever he was working on at the moment. I had to ask about my chips 15 minutes in, and if I hadn’t they would have came with my meal. As it were, my meal arrived before I was finished. The tacos were a bit of a disappointment. Just three tortillas flat on a plate with some lettuce, tomatoes, ground beef, and some mayo — based sauce. It tasted like a taco kit I’d buy at the supermarket.

Not impressed. Saddest looking shepherds pie ever. And it was still cold in the center.

Service was fantastic. The mac n cheese had stale bread crumbs. I would avoid the place next time.

I waited 21 minutes for a pepperoni pizza that was not great. There was no one else waiting. At least it was hot.

Well… What to say!?! I thought it would be a good spot to eat at given the immediate b-line it made to my/our gate. However, the waiter wouldn’t open the back section with average height tables to accommodate me and my service dog!!! Oh, the waiter also turned away another party with the same request to accommodate a man in a wheelchair! In all of my years, I’ve never been turned away till this place did so! I was so mad that speaking with a manager to push the issue just wasn’t worth it! We ended up eating at Legal Test Kitchen(LEGALSEAFOOD) and it hit the spot. Plus they were more than accommodating! Oh, and the waiter at this LEGALSEAFOOD apologized for the non-accommodating waiter!

I didnt have the opportunity to eat here so this review is only on the service… which kept us from eating. GREAT location — just inside security at the Delta gate — the only positive plug I can make for Lucky’s. Given the proximity to our gate we thought this would be a great place to grab a bite, but the establishment wouldn’t open the back section with average height tables to accomodate my husband and his service dog. While we waited for the rest of our group to get through security Lucky’s also turned away another party with the same request to accomodate a man in a wheelchair. I’m sure we could have requested to speak with a manager or pushed the issue, but just like the other party — it’s not worth it. We ended up eating at Legal Test Kitchen(LEGALSEAFOOD) and it hit the spot. Plus they were more than accomodating.

Fairly disappointing service & food. I had the turkey sandwich which was slimly laden with meat and had cold, limp bacon. The plastic utensils were also an unwanted surprise. On a positive note, the electrical outlets were a nice convenience. ** Edit 7÷25÷2014 ** The restaurant responded to the complaints in my review with an apology for my having dealt with them and an offer for a refund or complimentary meal on my next visit as well as a promise to address them with the staff. A classy move on their part and respected. I thought it only fair to mention it as an edit to my review. It doesn’t change the experience of my visit but certainly speaks to their interest in maintaining and improving reputation. Credit to them.

I had a lobster roll here before that was pretty good. They didn’t have it this time so I ordered clam chowder. Ewww. The consistency was not right and overall the flavor was not there. My Debbie downer non existent server made the experience worse. I won’t be back.

Hot dogs are massive, and very good. My server was annoyingly upbeat. Usually it doesn’t bug me but he had to ask several times about my order to ensure accuracy. Lock it up man, I’d rather be served promptly and well over being entertained anyday.

I realize this is airport food, so I shouldn’t have high expectations. But, really, serving tasteless clam chowder just seems like such a sin in Boston, even if it’s just the airport. This place also doesn’t have a caesar salad, which surprised me because it’s such a simple request. No caesar dressing was available. Instead, I settled for a mixed greens salad without dressing. The salad still came with a brown dressing on the side that looked unappealing. The soup, salad, and a bottle of water totaled $ 13. There are only two good things about this place hence the two stars — service was excellent, and there are lots of outlets. If you sit in the middle where there are bar stools, there is an outlet in between every seat. Given that outlets are hard to find in the airport(no charging stations & could only find on the walls RIGHT outside the bathroom), it’s worth buying a beer or two if you’re desperate for a charge.
