Honest and very friendly!
I brought in a diamond ring with a replacement stone for a potential repair/​swap. Gemologist Laurie gave me great advice, helped me understand my options and was patient while I asked her a ton of questions. I’d definitely recommend others come here, especially if you need reliable jewelry advice.

I had just received an Omega watch for my birthday and needed to have a couple of links removed. I was nearby on Newbury Street and looking for a nice jewelry store when Lux Bond and Green popped up in a Unilocal search on my phone.
The woman who helped me could not have been more patient or professional. She first removed two links but once I tried it on, the band felt a bit snug. After much time working at it, she then re added one link and bingo, the watch fit exactly how I wanted it.
What’s amazing is that after receiving such excellent service, I was not even charged! My husband didn’t even buy the watch from this store and yet they worked on it for almost 30 minutes to get it perfect for me and the cost was ZERO.
The next time I am looking for a piece of jewelry or a wedding gift you can bet I’ll be going to Lux Bond and Green. Such amazing customer service deserves customer loyalty.

Laurie is awesome! I was a first time customer from out of town looking at Rolexes. She cheerfully helped out and allowed me to try and compare without any attitude I’ve experienced at other dealers. They even had the difficult to find model I wanted and I happily purchased it. She overnight shipped it to me so it would arrive home when I did. For Rolex definitely see Laurie, I will definitely be purchasing my next one from her as well.

My boyfriend and I went to Lux Bond & Green to look pick out an engagement ring together. We had a wonderful experience there. We told them our budget (certainly not huge by diamond standards, but certainly large for us!) and they spent 2.5 hours with us, showing us everything that fit our budget. Top notch service, answered all of our questions. They even showed us our diamond under a microscope to point out the (very minor) flaw that was invisible to the naked eye. We later priced out the same cut, carot, clarity on Blue Nile and the price Lux gave us was around the same price (and I get the benefit of a brick and mortar store to visit when I want my setting checked and cleaned). We are definitely going to go back to them when it is time to purchase our wedding bands.

This place did a custom job for us super fast and for a reasonable fee, so maybe I’m being too picky. The piece was basically fine, but after having it appraised, I learned that the stones they put into the band were mostly pretty bad: some of them were chipped, many had inclusions, and a number were of lower color quality than they indicated they used in their pieces. I was on a pretty strict timeline, so maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice, but it seems pretty cheap considering how inexpensive better stones would have been in this case. They also assured me that only used the finest stones in all of their custom work, which is clearly not the case. Aside from that, though, I do love the piece. It was crafted well and very quickly to match another piece we had done elsewhere.

I buy all my (ok, my wifes) jewlery at LBG. They have all of the major brands and latest styles. The jewlers are excellent craftsman. The staff is honest and very friendly. Plus, the prices are competitive. What more could you ask for???

Excellent, professional, courteous and attentive service. Wide selection of products. The prices are reasonable, and Lux, Bond & Green recognizes that the customer comes first, and inasmuch has other options when it comes to shopping for jewelry. This has been, and will remain, my go-​to store for jewelry shopping.

I’ve used LB&G for watch repairs which they’ve done a good job. They can fix in house or send out most watches for a new battery or repairs. They’ll usually adjust a band for free. I’d say the repairs are pricey-​er, but you’re paying for a reputable jeweler instead of a shady place in downtown crossing.
As for the store itself– its an assortment of jewelery as well as Tag Heuer, Victorinox and Rolex watches. By no means an incredible selection, but not bad either.

This jeweler has a great selection of the classics, simple, nice jewelry. They put a diamond into a new setting for me. The setting is beautiful, and they were even able to kind of custom make it. It arrived on time. Quality seems very satisfactory. The people helping me were helpful and personable.

They’ve fixed my tension-​set ring and some of my earrings. Repairs are priced fairly.

high end and upscale selection of jewlery, fine china, vases, watches, etc. Some items are overpriced. Also has some nice window displays. Great location in heart of Back Bay. Consider Parish Café or Rattlesnake for lunch after shopping!
