I got taken here on my second week at my current job by my extremely hung over liverpudlen boss. I think when you are feeling un-well we look for comforts of home, so it is no surprize for you to learn that this place is an Indian. Many of you will be scratching your head about the logic involved in eatin curry to sooth an unsettled stomachbut it works. Mantra was exactly what i needed, and from what i could remember from the beers soaked brian, was that it was pretty good. but i felt i should go back in a less fragile state yesterday and give the place an honest review. Now, i have only ever had the lunch time buffetbecuase im poor. but its pretty good, one of the best i have had in america. It doesnt try and pander to an american palet, but sticking with the classic and spice blends, which i thank them for. but i dont know what it is, but it just didnt feel like home, which i always want my curry houses to feel like. I think this maybe to the weird trend in america for curry hosues to be cutting edge design and for a more food savee audience. this is just a minor niggle, because overall the place is great
