Absolutely amazing healthcare. From patient check-in to family notification, a première hospital with excellent quality of care and service. Couldn’t be happier!

We unfortunately had an emergency situation and had to use the ER. It was terrible. We were there 5 – 6 hrs in total. Just to be seen by a doctor took 2 hrs. Then some x-rays and blood work was done(not at the same time), each took an hour. Then another hour to wait for the results. I would never go back there. It was heartbreaking to see patients with small children just waiting for 6 hours and absolutely no empathy from the staff. Communication was zero as well, you had to keep hunting a staff member to find out what next, what were we waiting on. While I recognize its a big hospital and on any given night they must be dealing with tons of emergencies and they have to prioritize. But I think they could add more staff, have a better waiting room and do a better job communicating with people.

If I could I would give the staff from the Mass General Emergency Room ten stars! I had to go to the emergency room per recommendation of my doctor. I was extremely nervous and the staff sensing this constantly reassured me and made me feel at ease. Thankfully everything turned out good, but regardless of the outcome my husband and I were so grateful for how we were treated the entire five hours we were there! Thank you guys!

At a really scary time the entire staff from the ambulance, to the nurses, to the admitting Dr, to the attending doctor, dr. white, were all amazing. the level of cleanliness compared to Tufts was so much better and the time that it took to see me and get my tests done was great. world class operation all around and I can’t thank them enough.
