Morrissey Boulevard Shell

It’s probably about the location more than anything else. The city itself does not have too many gas stations — at least within major neighborhoods so to say. That’s when this one comes handy.
At a very strategic location, this tiny gas station comes very handy when you are about to hit 93 from either Southie or from neponset. The gas is not the cheapest — given it is Shell, still the ease is what matters at the end of the day.
The store is quite fine as well. Well stocked with essentials and snacks one can grab for a road trip. The attendants were really nice when I stopped last weekend. Very courteous. Also they open quite early on weekends. Which is a big plus.
Finally, for such a tiny Shell gas station to have a tire pressure station — it was really the clincher for me. I really stopped because all of a sudden my car’s tire pressure sign came up on my dashboard to a red. So glad they had it. I topped up the gas while i was there on a rainy, sleety Sunday morning. Good find!

Feel like a «trap»
Got in the first entrance and didn’t know it was full service (even it was summer) for first time of a month. On second time, still got in the first entrance and didn’t see a guy there at beginning, then he came out to offer for full-​service, but since I was already in process, then I denied. After pumping more than $ 50, I recognized it was $ 4.19 for regular when it was listed on the sign with $ 3.69. Asking the man in the store and I was known that was the price for full-​service. I loss $ 7 total for this .50 cents/​gal different. I should read Anne’ s review before coming here. So, be careful everyone: to get in the second entrance and make sure to see it’s the price for self service!

We needed gas before returning a rental car at Logan and this did the trick. There are 4 pumps, 2 self and 2 full. It was not busy when we were there. The main drawback was that after we got gas there we drove past another station with quite a bit cheaper gas prices.

Trying to use our gas points from stop and shop we came here and it turned into a nightmare. They don’t have a scanner for the keychain s&s card so you have to manually enter the numbers which isn’t that bad but it takes some time. They have 1 island and they use 1 side for full and 1 side for self so if you don’t want full service you have to pull in and then turn your car around if your has tank is on the drivers side. Again more time consumption. But the thing that bothers me the most is that the pump automatically stops every $ 5 increment. So here I am trying to fill up my tank and every $ 5 I have to re-​start the pump. It became increasingly annoying as I reached $ 20 and I still had about $ 20 more to go. By the time my tank was full and I was leaving, I was throughly livid and annoyed. I wound up saving $ 0.30/gallon but I’ll drive to the gas station in south bay to use my points.

Its a Gas Station only 1 pump Island, small & a small store… But I was on E so I had to stop…
And it does stink trying to pull back out into traffic… Good Luck — Just pull out & go!!!
