3 Words. Professional, Fun, and Serious… about Results. I am a member at Equniox and those work outs felt a bit isolated. Here I received the focus and attention I didn’t even know I wanted and I LOVED it. Great location in Copley Square. Worth the investment.

As a Chiropractor, I only trust professionals with a certain degree of training and knowledge because my office reputation is on the line when I send them somewhere. Eric is an excellent trainer and I know I can trust him to take great care of patients I send to him. He goes above and beyond for his clients and gets great results. Not just a trainer who will teach you how to lift weights, he teaches you how to move correctly. Highly recommended.

Eric is one of those guys who are approachable enough that you can feel comfortable at any fitness level yet cares enough to tell you to dig deep and make it happen.
His focus is your overall body strength, flexibility, and movement. And if you happen to tone up and lose weight then it’s a bonus. What’s awesome is that you will get the results you wanted and benefit from all the knowledge Eric shares with you.
He trained me a couple of months before my wedding and the results were toned, lean muscles with definition. Did I mention he is also one of the nicest people ever. During a stressful wedding season, he was thoughtful in his life check-​ins and channeled all the wedding stress energy into useful motivation in making our sessions count. I would highly recommend Eric if you have an event or want to jump start your health or just need some direction for optimal results. His knowledge about your movement, muscles, and body will be a complement to an existing fitness routine or if you need to reformulate/​create one. Don’t waste your money on a gym trainer who cares about the 3 sessions you bought. Invest in someone who cares about your overall health whether you are training with him or not.

I am a physical therapist with over 15 years of experience. I have focused my practice solely on orthopedics, spine, and sports medicine. I have had the opportunity to meet many, many personal trainers and can tell you that Eric is on my very short list of fitness professionals that I’m willing to refer patients to when they’re done with me in the clinic. He flat out knows his stuff, is personable, and genuinely wants to help his clients maximize their potential. If you’re looking to get started with some workouts or need to update your same old program, Eric is your guy… call him now!

I’m by no means a fitness guru. I’ve found that when I go at it alone at a gym I basically repeat the same basic routine and don’t really benefit from it. Personal training is definitely an investment but for me it’s the only way I feel I really benefit from working out.
I was until recently a member of BSC on Newbury, simply because of location. I hadn’t been there since July, went to cancel my membership and of course they need 30 days notice, so they were «nice» enough to prorate the remainder of my month and only charge me $ 51 instead of $ 59 and continue to tell me my membership is good through November something, even though I reiterated I haven’t used their gym since July and won’t be back so stop explaining this to me. I guess they need the 30 days notice so they can anticipate cleaning the machines just a little less since I am cancelling my valuable membership.
Anyways, back to the good. Eric is great. I did the complimentary movement assessment and mini-​workout with him. My previous personal trainer was female so I was somewhat anxious that I would be intimidated working out with a guy but Eric was awesome. Made me comfortable from the start. He has a decent sized studio right near Copley Square. I was able to listen to my own choice of music and work out in complete privacy, knowing that I could screw up, ask questions, etc as we went along and not have to worry about the meatheads judging me. It was great. We talked about my fitness goals, nutrition, etc.
It was so great that I booked a 30 session package with him. I was able to reason with myself to make this investment because previously I paid my trainer the same amount that I would have paid if I did hour sessions with her instead of half hour sessions, plus I don’t have to pay a monthly gym membership and get complete privacy.
I’m really looking forward to working out three times a week with Eric and building some muscle while toning my core. Highly recommend checking it out!

Movement Sciences has helped me relieve a lot of my aches and pains. I am one of the least flexible people ever (no, really!) and Eric has helped me work on my flexibility and strengthening my core. The back pain I thought I had to live with forever has started to subside and I feel great! Eric is personable and really listens. He focuses on the things that are important to your health and lifestyle — a great change from other trainers I have met in the past. I highly recommend Movement Sciences!

I’ve been with Eric for almost two years now, and still go weekly!
For me, it all comes down to this: Every time I workout with Eric, I feel better and my body moves better.
His style is somewhere between physical therapy and master personal training. He evaluates what’s working well for your body, and what’s not, and then builds a program.
For example, he took a video of me doing a simple squat. Don’cha know my left knee was splaying WAAAYY out to the left, like a dog chasing a squirrel? I never noticed because I’m too busy trying not to fall the F over! So, we did some exercises for my hips and butt, and voila, the knee is at least sorta staying in line. And, he gave me homework, to keep improving. :)
If you’re a «desk jockey» and/​or spend a lot of time sitting, like me, you should definitely check out Eric. If you want to build muscle, improve flexibility, or just get a great workout, he’s your man.
And, yeah, I still have a little crush on him ;)

I researched Eric before I joined and I have not looked back since — the improvements to my form, health and all round well being can all be attributed to his technique and yes my follow through. He gives me good technique which has given me the confidence to have good quality workout on my own that actually show results and not just injuries.
He seems to be always focused and aware of any individual issues and injuries — I never have to remind him and he custom fits the exercises to my strengths and weaknesses. I feel I get 100% when I work with Eric.

I have been training with Eric for about 8 months now and I couldn’t be happier! I am a full time Hairstylist, so that usually means long days standing on my feet and having my arms elevated most of the time… Eric has helped me with building better core strength to enable me to have good posture. Eric focuses our sessions on movements and exercises that will not only help me get in shape but even better — my days are filled with less aches and pains too! Eric and Movement Sciences are great!

Eric is great! Very personable (and chatty), and he really knows his stuff. I have worked out for many years, and had to stop because of back problems. I was referred to Eric by my physical therapist. Eric has worked to create a very personalized program for me, and I can already feel the results.
