The tennis courts at the Murr Center are in phenomenal condition. While it may be difficult to get court time, it’s certainly a pleasure when you finally do get to play on them. Their tennis pro, Michael, runs some really great clinics and is also a great stringer. I haven’t had the opportunity to play on the squash courts yet but they are all pretty new and kept in good condition. Can’t expect anything less than the best from the top collegiate squash team in the country.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Washington, DC
Ladies and gentlemen, this place is so good that I didn’t even mention it until once I was gone(I know, I know — that’s terrible). Harvard students, alums, faculty, staff, and significant others and families of those groups, get yourself to the Murr. Yes, it is a low-tech gym(think two rows of ellipticals, one row of treadmills, some weight machines, and free waits). But it’s perfectly fine if you’re just interested in breaking a sweat or getting a good workout. But here’s what makes it great: it’s always empty(unlike the MAC or the dreaded Hemenway). And during the school year it’s open all day(9am-10pm). I’ve never seen more than 5 people there at a time. No sign up sheets. No type A law school students monitoring how long you have been on the elliptical. No long waits. It’s just you, the four other people there, and all the machines you want.
