Delicious! I’ve gotten sick of my usual lunchtime spots during the week and decided to check this place out. it’s a bit further down Hanover than most tourists seems willing to walk, so I was taken care of right away. Got the Coast Guard sandwich — thanksgiving sandwich. Turkey was fresh carved, bread was warm. Less than $ 9. Can’t wait to check it out again

I’ve been a regular here for 2+ years. The breakfast sandwiches are consistently great, and the coffee too. Lively, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food. Great local color. We do not eat gluten so they made us cheese and veggie omelet. Really good food and we could not have made it ourselves for the price. Good coffee. A small is really gigantic

Why pay inflated prices for breakfast sandwiches at touristy places when you can get the same at a local shop with lots of quirk. I happened to stumble in here when I was taking a walk, like any clueless tourist, in below freezing temperature. When I realized my boogers were freezing, I knew it was time to dip in somewhere to warm up. I walked in on a heated debate between the owners and locals about politics; it was absolutely entertaining. The coffee was surprisingly good and the breakfast sandwiches were better than those at the touristy Quincy Market. I went back every morning during my stay in the North End. By second morning, they knew my name. It was like the Norm welcome from Cheers. This place is a gem.

As a local, this is our favorite weekend breakfast spot. The bacon egg and cheese on a bagel is outstanding and the place has real North End charm. It’s always an experience with the characters inside and I’d recommend to all for an authentic, local Boston time. Bravo guys

So what if there are better places to eat, this is Boston in one little place! We could have just hung out and talked to the different characters that frequent here. The food may few average, but the atmosphere is priceless. We travel all over our great country and this place rates as one of the best venues that reflect the local culture. A must stop for a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee.

Great sandwiches! And very patient staff. I walked in with 2 kids and 2 senior citizens who acted like they’ve never been in a deli. It took the kids forever to figure out what they wanted and the guy behind the counter was very patient and kind. He even gave me a tip to avoid the lines at Mike’s and go to Modern pastry for canolli. He was spot on because Modern was better than Mike’s So I had the Prince. Love their basil pesto! Not too oily but heavy on the basil, which I love. My nieces had the endicott, and loved it. They are picky eaters! We got to listen in on the politics of the North End, which I enjoyed. I’m not sure this is on any tourist map, seems like a local spot. But dang, it should be, especially those visiting Boston on a tight budget.

Uniquely named signature sandwiches that kick ass. Small shop on the corner that packs a punch. 3 small tables and a counter with some stools. Can get crowded easily. Breakfast bits served all day. Great iced coffee served by great neighborhood people. I can’t say enough about them. Yes I can… Chocolate shell cannoli was one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

The nicest thing about My Cousin Vinneys is the awning. Had a stake bagel and tasteless croissant there and will never stop again.

No Way. There is NOWAY that this place should have 4.5 stars. Chicken was spongy and pesto tasted like it had been rotting in a jar on some forgotten shelf for eons. Perhaps I ordered the wrong item(Panini) and should have stuck with a specialty, Staff were friendly but there is no way I will be going back. I’ll be lucky if I get through the rest of the day without getting sick. Hate to leave such a terrible review but letting this place continue on with 4.5 stars is just wrong.

If you are in the vicinity of this eating establishment, get in there and and eat! The Paul Revere(meatball sub) was unbelievable, and our hosts handled our party of 14 like it was nothing! My Cousin’s Place should be your next place to eat!

I’ve only gone here for breakfast since I live so close, but I’m not a huge fan. Their bagels either are not fresh or just come extremely dense. But I do like the egg with their breakfast sandwich. When you bite into it yolk comes out. Not a sandwich for on the go, but worth sitting down if you don’t get a bagel.

I don’t normally write reviews on Unilocal and I think most people only review if they have an absolutely amazing experience or something goes terribly wrong. This is an example of an absolutely amazing experience! I moved to the north end a few months ago and read some other great reviews. I went to My Cousins Place for some Sunday Hangover food and go back almost every weekend now. Everything is amazing but in particular I have to call out the coast guard sandwich which is like thanksgiving anytime you feel a little homesick! The iced coffees are also the best I have ever had and even worth it when it’s below freezing outside. The cousins that run the place are super friendly and make everything completely fresh for you. It’s a bit of a greasy spoon but don’t let the modest appearance fool you, it’s a genuine gem of the north end!
