When I was a young car-​owner here in Boston, I got ripped off like you wouldn’t believe. So many 1000’s of dollars… it actually is believeable, just listen to Car-​Talk and they’ll tell you all about the automotive repair scam artists of the Greater Boston area. After my awareness of this manifested, I sought out the best and fairest shops in this damn town, and finally, I’ve found one repair shop worthy of reviewing on Unilocal.
N & K recently fixed my friend’s car for $ 700 less than the original quote she got from some EVIL garage over in Somerville. When I heard the jaw-​dropping high quote the Somerville shop gave her I said, «THEY MUST BE SCAM ARTISTS!» and demanded that she get a second quote from N & K. And I was right! And she was overwhelmingly thankful. I’ve had repairs done by N & K for half the cost the dealership quoted, which is to be expected, but my friend’s experience was what made me realize how truly FAIR the pricing at N & K Auto was. They are not out to squeeze as much as they can out of you. They exist to do their jobs well and for the true cost. They are polite, nice, professional, quick, and have a big olé garage.
