I thought I had found a good laundromat, but I was wrong. Their employee on Sundays is completely useless. I had dropped off my laundry to be done on Saturday around noon. I was told it would be ready Sunday afternoon. When I went back at 3:30 on Sunday(just now) the employee could not find my clothes, and then when he did all he could say was«not done.» So I asked him why and told him they needed to be done today and he just stared at me blankly. He managed to muster enough energy to tell us it would be done tomorrow. I told him it needed to be done today and he just was like«ummm…11?» I can’t wait to go back tonight and see that he still hasn’t done it. I’d like to think someone in management at Neptune will read this but I highly doubt it. I won’t be going there ever again.

This place is completely unorganized. They change their hours every other week. Today I walked in at 9:30p and was told that the doors close at 10p. A couple of weeks before the last load was at 10:30p. I was told to go to the other Neptune location which is a good 25 min walk away. Without a car a doubt I will be making the walk.

I like coming here because the washing machines are so big. They also have times when the dryers are free. I’m not exactly sure when this happens. It always seems random to me. All in all it’s a big, clean, convenient, friendly laundromat.

Horrible! This Place has many signs posted that they close at 2 a.m. That is a lie. I arrived at 1145 p.m. and they claim that they close at 10 a.m. yet the sign clearly says 2 a.m. either way, they refuse to let me wash my clothes at 11:45p.m. whether they close at 1a.m. or 2 a.m. I was very sweet and mentioned that this was an emergency, but the rude staff refused my good hard earned money.

I agree with Julie R that is the best in Eastie and I do love the convenience of being able to use my debit card rather than worry about quarters. My only big issue with this place is the patrons. I do not understand how anyone can have that much laundry. Seriously and why must you take up every machine and dryer in the place? I think there should be a per person limit for the number of machines and dryer a single family can use at once. They also let their evil brats run around and scream and smack into you and they say nothing. I watched one kid literally turn purple pitching a fit about a bag of chips. The prices are high for Eastie but cheaper than most other cities. I usually go here when the one in Winthrop is too busy.

This place makes going to the laundromat not so bad. I found it on a whim after driving by so many tiny laundromats in Eastie. The place is huge and all the machines are brand new. There are at least 50 front load different sized stainless washers and 60 new dryers. The best part is you get a free dryer for every load you do. It automatically credits your card and you can set the timer as long as you wish. The prices of the machines are the cheapest I’ve ever seen from $ 4.25-$ 9. The largest is a 90lb loader for $ 9. It’s so big you could almost walk into it. I recommend you separate your whites and use the med sized machines in the $ 5 range. I am able to do 2 big loads for $ 10 with the use of the free dryers. The place has flat screen tv’s on the walls. They use the laundry card system so don’t bother bringing quarters. There is always someone working behind the counter and keeping the place impeccable. They sell the normal sized bottles of detergent so you don’t waste your money on the single use boxes in the vending machine. If your unlucky without machines in your apt., this is a great place to go.
