I studied the cello when I was younger, and now that I have moved to Boston, I was looking for a cello to buy so that I can practice. I went to Paul’s shop, and was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly, I have not played in 7 years, but to me Paul was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and willing to answer all my questions about the cellos. He was also very patient, allowing me to take my time playing, and didn’t hover. I am strongly considering purchasing an instrument from him, and would recommend him to anyone else looking for a string instrument.
The shop is small, and I think he is the only one who works there, so I would definitely call beforehand to schedule an appointment.
