I needed something fast to eat and this was the place. Chicken Mezze was a flavorful and delicious dish. Not only was it quick, it was healthy and economical too. I understand now why it has many rave reviews. A must visit if you’re in area. Also, get the free Gozi chops when you check in on Unilocal

Pleasantly surprised! It looks like your typical run of the mill lunch spot that is overhyped… So much for judging that book by its cover… I was wrong! The line was a mile long but the service was fast, friendly and efficient. I didn’t think the salad-rice bowl would be so tasty and filling but it held me down just fine. You definitely get a good bang for your buck around here. Make sure you check in on Unilocal and you’ll get your free Gozi chips and the meal will only cost you about $ 8.

A surprisingly fresh and delicious find! Veggie salad and falafel rice plate hit the spot for us. Great value for the quality of food!

I love salads, but salads can be boring. I also love Middle Eastern cuisine, especially falafel! Piperi has been my go-to way to eat a quick, healthy, and delicious lunch. I always get their salad, and ask them to add everything except feta. Usually I order the salad with falafel, but I have also tried chicken. Both are delicious! The falafel is deliciously crispy and holds together well(I have previously eaten falafel that falls apart or is too dry). The chicken has a yummy smoky flavor, and the meat is tender and moist. A friend of mine(from out of town) ordered their gozi flatbread sandwich and loved it so much that he bought a second one right after finishing the first one! If you come here regularly, be sure to download LevelUp, which gives you a discount once you spend over $ 100. Also, if you check in on Unilocal, you get free gozi chips. The chips are deliciously crispy, with the perfect hint of spice! They are a teensy bit greasy, though.

Absolutely, positively outstanding lunch, and a tremendous alternative to office catering when you have a picky office of vegetarians and gluten free crusaders. It’s so good, and so consistent, and so affordable that I feel like I’m due for some terrible karmic rebalancing. But until then, I plan on continuing to eat absolutely delicious chicken and falafel wraps with abandon.

Piperi is one of those places where I could grab lunch every day and still be so sad when I’m down to the last bite. It’s like a hard breakup. You are heartbroken, but know it’s over(uh, no… I’m not an emotional eater…). In all seriousness, if you’re looking for a flavorful and filling lunch, this place is for you. You get to choose a protein and how you’d like it served: sandwich, salad, rice plate. Then comes the fun part: toppings! Hummus? Duh. Cucumber salad? Yes. Moroccan carrots? Yes, please. Cabbage slaw? Definitely(pause)…maybe a bit more, please? You get the point. Everything here is delicious. My go to is the salad with chicken with the mentioned toppings. I also add harissa for that extra kick(#YOLO)

Came here with friends for lunch since it was conveniently located near our hotel by the Boston Commons. We actually stumbled upon it by accident, but were sure glad we did! WOW! The food here was amazing! The food was fresh and flavorful! I got the Gozi flatbread wrap with Falafel, grilled chicken, and most of the toppings(lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, white beans w/kale, hummus, and yogurt). There’s also 3 sauces that you can add. I got the jalapeño and milder red sauce on the side… both were great! The wrap was stuffed full and did not fall apart at all! Fast and friendly service! Reasonable prices! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!

Oh my. Wow. Why didn’t I try this place sooner?! Like another Unilocaler so eloquently stated, Piperi is the Mediterranean version of Chipotle(but fresher and tastier!). I came by after working out downtown. The place was packed(good sign) and the line moved quickly. I got to the counter before I even knew what I wanted — the staff kindly greeted me and when I informed them it was my first time there, they were so friendly and sweet enough to explain the process/items/choices and prices. Very helpful! I decided on the Gozi(flatbread wrap) with roasted vegetables and falafel(you can mix and match 2!). I added hummus, carrots, olives, and feta. The wrap was HUGE! I had checked in, so I received the free bag of Gozi chips. For under $ 10, I had a feast! I found a nice little nook in the corner and sat down to enjoy. Delicious. I don’t think I even stopped to breathe — I inhaled my wrap. So good. I’m hooked and will definitely add Piperi to my list of downtown lunch spots.

I loooooove this place. I like that it gives you a salad that is more flavorful and fun then your regular salad such as the Caesars that you can get anywhere. Today I got the salad with chicken, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers and yogurt sauce. SOGOOD. The chicken was tender and full of Meditteranean flavor. The other components added all these other flavors and textures that is like a party in your mouth. The yogurt sauce is BOMBDOTCOM and it ties everything in together. So good. Will be back.

Intro: My favorite lunch spot in Boston. I’ve been trying to stick with the plant based diet, but unfortunately there isn’t too many options in Boston. It’s great to see a restaurant like this and the best part about it is that the food is being charged at a very reasonable price. I’ve never spent more than $ 8 after tax. Details about the food and restaurant: Like one Unilocal reviewer said, it’s the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Don’t be intimidated by the long line when you first walk in, the line moves quickly. You have a choice of a rice plate, salad, or sandwich. I nearly always get the rice plate. You can choose from: roasted vegetables, steak, chicken, or falafel. Extra portions are couple of dollars more, but in all honesty the portions are pretty good and I don’t recommending spending extra unless you are super hungry. Then you can choose your sides. Which include: hummus, carrot salad, white bean and kale salad, beet salad, etc. Finally you get to choose from a variety of sauces. Why I love this place: The food is super fresh, healthy(gluten free, vegan, etc.), delicious and is very very reasonably priced.

This is the best spot to grab a quick bite during lunch or better yet before going to the movies. Since its conveniently located close to the AMC theater @Boston. Food and ingredients are so fresh, healthy and delicious! We’ll be coming back for sure.

One of my favorite lunch spots and go-to’s for mediterranean food. Place is usually pretty packed, but the line moves rather briskly. Its just great value here and the food tastes great. I usually get the Chicken Mezze Plate, which comes with a fair amount of chicken and your choice of sides/sauces such as hummus, baba ganoush etc. A good amount of quality food at a fair price. Pita Thyme, which is somewhat close, is pricier but quality is only marginally better. If you ask nicely for one falafel, they’ll likely give it to you for free which is a nice extra bonus! If you use Level Up here, you’ll get $ 10 for every $ 100 spent here or so.

I think I’m actually obsessed with Piperi. On «eat lunch out» days I used to choose from a handful of restaurants, but recently I’ve found myself always going to Piperi. Is it the LevelUp credit? The convenient location? The fact that a Greek boy is naturally drawn to Mediterranean cuisine? Last week we had a holiday party but instead of eating the FREE food I actually elected to go to Piperi instead. If you knew me, you would understand how out of character that is. It’s basically a Mediterranean Chipotle/Boloco/Qdoba. Chose a plate, Gozi(wrap), or salad, then chicken, falafel, steak or vegetables, and move on down the line picking your toppings. I tend to stick with the chicken Gozi with all the healthy toppings like carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. I usually go between 12 and 1 when it’s super packed, but the line moves fast. The employees are always friendly and ask how your day is going. The owner is usually around too and is very involved. I will say though that depending on who is making your wrap, you might get one that’s busting at the seams or one that is so small that you think it might be a sick joke. They should work on portion control. Check in on Unilocal for a free bag of chips!

Great fast food option in downtown Boston. I’ve never heard of this chain, but I left full and happy! Good restaurant, I’d recommend it! I believe I had the platter and I love the customization options. Sort of like a Mediterranean chipotle. It was great.

It’s basically the under-rated Mediterranean sister of Chipotle; same selection and preparation method with different ingredients. You choose between a Gozi(basically a Mediterranean burrito), Mezze Plate and a Salad, and then you pick your main ingredient. Can’t decide on a filler? Pick two. I went with both Steak and Falafel, and proceeded to fill my Gozi with everything they offered(except the olives). I am not exaggerating when I say that my Gozi was about the size of a football by the time they started wrapping it up. Even though I arrived about 20 minutes before they closed, the food tasted as fresh as it would have if it had just been cooked. I also got a free plate of Gozi pita chips for checking in on Unilocal, which was an added bonus to the meal!

I’ve never had a complete mediterranean meal before. Yes I’ve had my fair share of hummus, but never a full on meal. As a tourist in Boston, this place was fairly easy to locate. As I entered, the staff welcomed me and asked me what I would like. As a first timer, I asked for their recommendations and they gladly recommended their favorites. I ended up ordering their in-house made tortilla, chicken, and every single topping they had(hey, might as well go big or go home). What I ordered was absolutely delicious! Having Piperi’s as my first mediterranean meal definitely sets my expectations for other mediterranean places a bit high. The overall meal was very light, refreshing, but very filling. The veggies(cucumbers, radish, carrots) added the light feel to the dish while the olives and feta gave it that little kick it needed. Great flavors and definitely not bland. I’d highly recommend what I ordered, which is basically all the toppings, chicken and the flour tortilla. Staff: love, Love, LOVE their service. Extremely helpful and love their energetic personalities. Parking: Unfortunately, as a tourist, I walk everywhere so I’m not sure where there would be parking. Price: $ 6– $ 8. My chicken was $ 7.75 with tax. Venue: The venue can hold roughly about a 45 capacity. There are those larger tables for 6 – 8 people and some there are for individuals. FYI, utensils are on the side by the«bar» seating area. Tips: Check in and get a free bag of goza chips!

YUM! I am munching away at my Chicken Rice Plate as I write this. This is some seriously yummy food. I have the Chicken, Cucumbers, Red Cabbage Slaw and Tzatziki sauce. ANDWOW, it is so good, refreshing and not to heavy. The staff was super friendly, as it was my first time here and I wanted to check it out and ask some questions as I ordered. Nice spot, close to my office. Not too expensive at all for the quality of this food. This will end up in my rotation of lunch spots!

I’ve seen this place trending on Unilocal for ages but finally had the chance to try it for myself(and snag the last bag of free chips!). There are a bunch of tables inside and outside. Staff is friendly and efficient, and this is one of those unlimited toppings places(my favorite!). I had the falafel flatbread — the falafel was one of the better ones I’ve had in Boston, with the right balance between a crispy outside and moist inside. Toppings are all yummy, and I like mixing the tahini with both sauces :) Next time, I’ll try the salad bowl! All the bowls and wraps look equally filling.

I finally got to try out Piperi and BOY was it delish. It’s smack in the financial district, so expect it to be PACKED around lunch time. Don’t be intimidated by the line. it goes really quick! I always get the rice plate with chicken and falafel. While the ingredients are lacking flavor, they are so, so fresh. Simplicity can be a beautiful thing. I think the sauces aren’t spicy, but this is coming from someone whose food is always bright red. I usually mix sauces to get the best of all worlds… The texture of the falafel and chicken is rather dry, but that can be fixed with some hummus. The Goji chips taste amazing, wow. Definitely check in to get them Unilocalers! What I like about Piperi is that even if you’re walking out stuffed, you don’t feel guilty! I will be back.

Ok guys. I get the hype now. One of the major downsides of working in Cambridge is that I don’t get to try out all these exclusive downtown lunch spots with limited hours. So during a rare day off of work, I made it a point to pay Piperi a visit. I arrive a bit before 2PM and there’s absolutely no line. One of the staff behind the counter asked if I’d been before, and when I answered in the negative, he excitedly said that he’d show me the ropes. He explained the styles(Gozi wrap, mezze plate with lettuce and rice, or salad bowl), entrée choices(chicken, steak, veggies, falafel or a mix of any 2), and then said that any and all of the toppings were on the house(although the board only says 4 are included). Let’s do this then! I opted for a falafel and steak salad, and then piled on the white beans, Moroccan carrots, hummus, yogurt, and 2 types of spicy sauce. All of the colors just screamed health! I then asked about the free Gozi chip offer with Unilocal check-in. He responded that they tend to run out of chips later in the lunch hour, but he would check in the back and if there were none left, then they would give me a free drink instead. The free drink offer was so nice and unexpected! Luckily they did have chips left, so he bagged some up for me with a smile. The(hefty) salad came out to be $ 7.75, but I also got $ 1 off by using my LevelUp app since it was my first time there. And with the free chips and mounds of toppings, I had a sizeable meal on my hands! I recommend mixing up as much of it as possible, since at first the toppings are separate, and the lettuce on the bottom is dry. However, once things get moving, there is so much delicious in every bite. Although I’m definitely a meat lover, I actually preferred the falafel to the chewy steak since it was warm and just the right crunchy-chewy consistency. After devouring a bit over half my portion, I felt full but not stuffed, and energized from the natural ingredients. The food is a great value, a solid 4 rating, but the personal service with a smile really pushes Piperi to a 5. Definitely put a Pip in my step!
