If you like Kraft Mac n cheese and freshly prepared frozen items from BJ’s you’ll love this place.

I decided to give this place a shot for my birthday after reviewing the positive comments that were posted about it on Facebook. However, I found myself to be very disappointed with the service and quality of the food. The service was very slow as there were only two people in the entire restaurant waiting on all of the tables. I don’t mind slower service and waiting longer for my food, as long as the food is worth the wait; but, unfortunately, that was not the case. For starters, the complimentary bread that was served was ice cold and rather stale. Complimentary soup or salad also comes with the meals, so I selected to have the Italian Wedding soup, but found that it was also dissatisfying because it was extremely salty. I didn’t view these things as being the end of the world because I knew that they were not my main course, and I still had the bulk of my meal to look forward to. However, I also found my main course to be a let down. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan, and the eggplant was overcooked and burnt. The sauce over the eggplant and pasta also was very bland. I usually avoid sending food back because I enjoy eating with my family, but the eggplant was burnt to the point that I had to mention something. The waitress was very friendly and willing to trade out my meal, which I was appreciative of. So, I decided to give the Raphael’s Seafood Pasta dish a try because I love seafood. I unfortunately found this dish to be no more satisfying than my first dish. There was a decent amount of scallops mixed in with the pasta, but it was clear that they were not fresh and most likely frozen. The sauce was very thick and gooey, and I also found the pasta to be very hard. The shrimp was the only part of this dish that I ate. It’s unfortunate that this restaurant did not live up to its reviews because it is located close to my home, and I would have patronized it often if the food was good. However, I won’t be coming back here in the future.
