Same day service should not be the name of this company. I called for service and was notified that they did not have the ability to do same day but would notify me(if) they had an opening the next day which was looking unlikely as well. I got a call the next day 5 minutes before the service tech was due to arrive yet they still wanted to charge the $ 119 rate. Other companies I called were in the 70 – 80 dollar range. I was then quoted $ 489 to replace a heating element and a door switch… from a quick google search… roughly $ 60 dollars worth of parts. They estimated 2 hours for those 2 parts which is already excessive if you have a tech who knows what they are doing. When I spoke to customer service and another fellow who called back after my first call, there was only an offer of a 10% discount. The egregious charge was explained by telling me that I was not just paying for my repair, but the personnel, part stocking, gas etc etc. By the way… they don’t stock my parts…(a heating element) and door switch. I was willing to pay a reduced rate for the initial visit, which they refused. Its disheartening that people do business like this.

I would never recommend these guys. I had a washing machine leaking water in my apartment in the North End of Boston. I called them on a Tuesday morning to request service. Of course they could not come until the next day(same day service?). I asked if they could come in the morning on Wednesday. They told me I could r quest AM service but they couldn’t guarantee it. I understood. By noon on Wednesday I still hadn’t heard from them. I called and they said they were unable to get to me in the morning but they assured me the service tech would arrive shortly and that I was DEFINITELY on for that day. At almost 4:00pm they called and said they weren’t coming! Their excuse was that they had a tech call in sick. BS. Even if that were true, why couldn’t they have called me earlier to let me know. I wasted an entire day for nothing. They were adamant about my agreeing to pay a $ 119 service charge for the tech to just walk in my door but they had no problem with wasting my entire day. When I spoke with the manager, his consolation to me was to offer to TRY to get me on the service list for the next day. Gee thanks but no thanks. In my opinion, these people are liars at worst and terrible business people at best. Don’t waste your time. Use someone else. Same day service? Hardly. Same day screwing? Absolutely.

Wow. Excellent service! This company knows customer service. My experience was prompt response, courteous staff, efficient and effective work, professionalism, and respect for the customer’s home. They will be my first choice in appliance repairs.
