I had a great experience with Shawmut Glass. I had a broken apartment window and called Gary. I explained the situation and gave him the window dimensions. He gave me a quote and was able to fix it within 48 hrs. He was also able to accomodate my schedule — coming over at 5pm. What he quoted me on the phone was exactly what I paid. He arrived on time, was courteous and was done within an hour. I would use him again.

I needed a kitchen window repaired that was shattered during a break-​in. I actually called 3 different glass companies. The first one I tried told me they would have to send the window out to be replaced (which I just assumed was the norm for an insulated window based on what he told me). I scheduled an appointment because I really needed the replacement and the guy never showed up or called.
I then tried Shawmut. Gary got back to me promptly, quoted me $ 100 less than the previous company. He showed up at the day/​time agreed on, fixed the window on site in 15 minutes. Very friendly guy too!
Quick and easy. I’d recommend Shawmut!
Just one note: he did NOT respond via email, I had to call.
