Starbucks

Worst customer service at any Starbucks. Two days in a row, two different staff members. Both were rude for no reason, looked miserable, and didn’t care if anyone else was miserable. Anthony didn’t even make eye contact and when I asked him (nicely) if he got the bar I wanted to buy (so I didn’t stiff Starbucks) he gave me a rude «Yeah. I got it it.»
I’m not asking for a good mood if you aren’t feeling it but don’t be rude to me for no reason so I leave feeling like an inconvenience.

We stopped in about 8:30 pm and the folks were still open and very helpful. I ordered some decaf pockets. The packets are very good in the morning.

so, we followed a girl in front of us and were in line for 7 minutes. The girl in front of us ordered and we were supposed to be next. Then some new people came in and started forming the line on the other side and the cashier (African American girl) took their orders. we went up to her (African American girl), started ordering and she told us she can’t take our order and we have go back at the end of the line. We said we were in line, following a girl who just left in front of us but all she said was we have to get in line.
First of all, there was no sign that says where the line forms exactly.
Second of all, working at starbucks, the girl should have at least, a little bit of customer service skill. she has no idea how to deal with customers.

I really like this location, the people are nice, it’s never jam packed like some locations. But mostly the workers, they are really caring and sweet.

It’s on the way too and from work so I stop. Only if the line is short. I think this place doesn’t have AC. It’s Africa hot in there every day. No idea how the baristas can work back there.

Although I veer toward local coffee shops to try their iced coffees like My Cousins coffee shop, I stumbled upon this Starbucks, the first über ever been to with the Clover brewing system which makes great iced brewed coffee… I’m sipping the Irish stout iced coffee… Dark, bold, full body iced coffee with a hint of chocolate. I highly recommend it in this friendly Bostonian Starbucks.

I passed by here several times but never made it in — always in a rush but this past Saturday, after a very long brunch/​bridal shower with some friends, my friend and I decided to come in to get a drink. Asked for extra Matcha and shook, and it was done perfectly. The cashier was friendly and drink was done pretty quickly. It helped that there wasn’t a line.
Location is very nice. It snowed/​drizzled a little earlier so the grounds were wet but the inside remained cleaned which was nice. The seating there were all against the windows so there was plenty of light unlike most other Starbucks. There were a couple of nice and combo couches compared to other places too, which adds on a more homey feel which i enjoy because we did sit there for almost an hour in comfort.
I’d definitely come back in here again if I was in this neck of the area.

Even if I wasn’t addicted to their latte’s, I would still rate this Starbucks’ location with 5 stars. I go there almost every day when I’m in town and the service is always exceptional. The employees at this location clearly care about their store and its customers. The only downside is the WiFi strength — given the number of people working laptops for hours at a time (myself included), the connection speeds are somewhat slow. I’m not sure if the connection is maxed out, of it can be upgraded though. Overall though a great place, strong recommendation.

This Starbucks has good service and pleasant background music. Tables are usually available with decent wifi connection.
One complaint is that it’s got a lot of visitors to… its solo bathroom! Sitting here a few times really changed my perspective and made me look more favorably upon coffee shops that don’t allowed random restrooms walk-​ins. For the majority of the times, the wait for the restroom here is at least ten minutes, which can be a bit inconvenient to say the least.

I’m a North Ender, and yes there are superior coffee shops next door, but this is across the street from the gym, and I’m a green tea drinker. My routine in morning, Starbucks, gym, home. The service here is just plain lousy. I order the same thing all time„ and they consistently get it wrong. Tall, unsweetened green ice tea. Sometimes the size us wrong, sometimes it’s sweetened, never right, seriously, how difficult is this? And what’s with the ridiculous long waits? There are always 4 or 5 people working, with one person making coffees in between chitchatting when they should be working on the long line of customers, and really, what’s with the worker who is always «stocking» paper cups with their back turned towards the counter? Can’t this person pour a coffee and keep the line moving? And they never smile and say good morning, or acknowledge you as a regular. Sorry, no tip for you. I’ll be going the round about route to Thinking Cup from now on.

The North End’s neighborhood Starbucks. Very friendly staff with strong attention to detail, although some of the female baristas let their gossip drift into the ears of the patrons from time to time. Great place to get some work done and/​or people watch. WiFi is fast and the drinks are consistent. Compared to other Starbucks in the Boston area and surrounding burbs this one is ahead of the pack. Stop in the next time you need a break from the freedom trail, the library or the office!

The best Starbucks I’ve stepped foot in. The drinks are consistent and the staff is very friendly. Great seating options ranging from stools at the bar, long & short tables and comfy chairs.

As a Starbucks junkie, I’ve been to lots of different cafes, and this one is great. It has a fantastic location and a cozy layout. I love the tables that are outside during warm months. Great for people watching!
The staff is always exceptionally friendly and my drinks are always made as expected.
The obligatory long lines are attended to very quickly and with ease. Unlike other Starbucks locations, they always have a nice selection of food that is consistently fresh.
This Starbucks is almost exclusively responsible for my Gold member status :)
Thanks for making my mornings a bit more bearable!

This is the only Starbucks I visited while I was in Boston…
We just randomly came here for some free WIFI time and just have a short break before we continue our «walking tour».
My Clover brewed coffee was quite good…
And yes I ate the cannoli and sfogliatelle I got from Maria’s Pastries here over my cup of java…
Staffs are friendly, Wifi is working, I am on vacation…
Life is good!

Always consistently good service here! They once charged me for a grande when I asked for a tall and gave me a «free drink» coupon even though I didn’t even notice the mistake!
They’re also pretty good at remembering your drink orders! I love that this location has ample sunlight and space.

I go here every morning before work right when they open at 6am. Never had a problem with the coffee, or customer service. When I went last week on Friday it wasn’t open yet… so I waited 15 and headed over to the Starbucks at the Marriott. Weird.

I may be being a little harsh in this review, I mean 2 out of 5 stars is pretty harsh right off the bat.
But I wholeheartedly stand by those 2 stars.
Customer service. Isn’t it what Starbucks, besides the obvious Coffee and snack time treats, is known for? I’ve had plenty of mediocre to bad customer service at this particular Starbucks.
The most notable experience being several months ago when I decided to cut my ties of this location. I was waiting in line for a simple medium iced coffee. It’s not fancy, and usually I order it with milk so I don’t have to pour out the excess or ask for them to leave room.
The woman in front of me was being a nuisance. Asking a lot of questions and making small demands. When she finally walked away to wait for her «took me 20 minutes to order» coffee, I walked up to the register just in time to listen to two of the employees getting all of their frustrations about the previous customer off their chests.
Ok, I get it, she was a pain. But do you really need to talk about it behind the register where I can hear you? I might just be the next victim to your toxic spewing.
Rewind to a time before. I ordered my iced coffee with milk, like I usually do. The person behind the counter hands it to me, with no milk and points to the table with milk and cream and tells me I can get it there.
Yes, I know I can. But I didn’t really ask for that. Why have iced coffee with milk on your menu if you don’t want to add my milk to my coffee? (Lazy girl problems, I realize, but C’mon!)
A shift supervisor, seeing my discontent, reluctantly and silently handed me a «Sorry your experience sucked here’s a free coffee!» card. I wasn’t buying it.
Eh. My only word for this location.

It’s a Starbucks. Oh but they did have a nice area for dogs to sit in the shade and have a bowl of water. Go there if you love Starbucks.

Not all Starbucks are created equal. This one pretty consistently gets out a good cup of coffee. I’ve only experienced bitter or water coffee when they are training a new barista.
They redesigned the interior about a year ago. I personally find it less inviting and less comfortable.
The staff has always been friendly (and over the last few years, I’ve been there a lot.)
TIP: Grab a coffee and a snack and walk a few yards to sit on the benches and watch the sailboats bob up and down.

I work right across the street so come here pretty much 5 days a week. Thank goodness this is my regular Starbucks though because it is the best I’ve been to!
Everyone is really friendly, remember the regulars. They are also very very quick. Granted this probably isn’t the most crowded Starbucks but even when there is a line — never more than 3 – 5 minutes.
