Convenient location for anyone on BU’s central campus! This staff sure knows their stuff– I just now learned that you can order hot beverages at «kid’s temp» which means it is no longer scalding and you can drink it faster! They are quick to correct order mistakes(they gave me the wrong type of cookie one time) and are very patient. Also, quick heads up, there’s a public bathroom here but I believe you gotta buy something to get access. Anyway, go here. They’re clean, quick, and courteous! (But they unfortunately do not carry all the starbucks café cookies & cheesecakes :()

Everything was fine except for the woman behind the register who did not look at me once and who obviously thinks her job is harder than it is. It’s a Tuesday night, relax.

Worst experience I have ever had. I go to Starbucks everyday, but I will never step foot in this branch again after the poor and terrible service I was put through. This one awful woman with pink hair was absolutely horrible to deal with. I asked for two grande cappuccinos and a croissant. She proceeded to grab the croissant with her bare hands, threw it in a bag and did not even bother to heat it up(as requested). She then gave me two tall cappuccinos(But charged me for grande cappuccinos). She ended up charging the wrong amount of my Starbucks card, and I had to put the rest on my credit card. I hope she gets fired.

The workers here are the best! They are super chill and welcoming and inviting! The dude with the cool Mohawk is the MOST happy guy you will ever meet! He’s so friendly and always inviting you with a smile! Makes your coffee that much better when you’re facing a COLDWINTERBOSTONDAY!

This is a great Starbucks location, on my last visit I got a free iPhone case to wirelessly charge my phone on the Duracell Powermats. This is a really cool feature and comes in handy since I always forget my charger. Check them out and try to find the reps handing out the free cases!

I am usually ok with this location, but today I went in and they lost one of my drinks, that didn’t make me mad though. What made me mad was the fat woman and the blonde man behind the counter who snapped at me after I said«Excuse me, I think one of my drinks got lost,…» the rude woman even cut me off before I could tell her what it was. If I wanted to have a fight with you, I would have been a jerk. Get over yourself. And cool dude, you made 14 of those drinks in the past 10 minutes, well it should have been 15. I don’t understand why there was a need for 2 people to verbally attack me after I said only 1 thing. I would have taken my 3 $ tip(on 2 drinks) out of the tip cup, except the girl at the register was so nice! Rude snobby people don’t belong in the industry.

I disagree with Julie — my drinks here are usually more consistent than other Starbucks(try going to an airport Starbucks sometime! Ack!!!). I always have good luck, and the people are great.

Easily the best Starbucks in Boston. The people here are great and will remember you and give you an occasional free drink if you make the effort to start a conversation. This location also has outdoor seating, which is great when you’re looking for a coffee shop to study in but don’t want to miss great weather. They’re located right outside a T stop, so getting there is just as painless as rushing out of there to work/class. It can get pretty busy during lunch hour since a lot of BU students and staff come here. In the past, it use to be impossible to find a place to sit, but it’s gotten better since Panera opened on the same block. BEWARE: there is only one public power outlet in this location. But since my MacBook gets 7 hours of battery, I can give this the full rating AND snub PC users at the same time :]

I love Starbucks coffee. The food and drinks are always the same so I’m not even going to go into that. This location is not huge but it’s not too small either. There is a steady flow of professionals, mothers, professors, and BU students throughout the day. It is usually full of people so getting a table can be tricky but doable. The staff are friendly enough, much friendlier than some other Boston cafes. Also, there is a wonderful sitting area outside which you can take advantage of in the summer. There is sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon because it faces north onto Commonwealth Ave. This feels more like a neighborhood coffee shop than a college haunt so don’t let the closeness of BU deter you from coming here.

I really enjoy this Starbucks since it’s right next to my house so I can always come here to study, but they never make their drinks the way other Starbucks do. Whenever I go to a Starbucks, I assume that my drinks will always come out close to or very much the same. Whenever I go to this Starbucks, it always tastes watered down and after so many attempts, I gave up. If I come here to study, I usually buy a bottled drink because everything else always disappoints.
