I’m not sure what happened to this location but what used to be a pleasant less than 5 minute wait for a coffee has turned into a stressful«will I make it to work on time» 15 – 20 minute wait… the previous employees used to get my hot or iced coffee while I ordered and I had it in hand as I was cashing out… it was a perfect system… now I sit and wait… and wait… Folks can’t wait 15 – 20 minutes for coffee… especially when you had the employees and a system to work it 6 – 8 months ago…

Very friendly staff. Otherwise, a very typical Starbucks!

If I could give this Starbucks 0 star, I would do it. The employees here always cold face, the milk /cream station is a mess, trash is overflowed.

I am a traveller, was looking for a place to have a cup of coffee and for some reason disregarded reviews. Wow, the attitude here is the worst. And even when they messed up the order, they gave me even more attitude. In the end I ended up with such a terrible drink, the Asian guy definitely doesn’t know how to whip the cream. Never ever Starbucks again.

I tolerate this Starbucks because it’s right next to where I work. However, like a previous review mentioned, the employees are terrible listeners. They either don’t know the meaning of light ice or they have selective hearing and blocked it out completely. The staff are pretty friendly and professional(which is why it’s not 1 star) except for this one girl with dark hair and glasses. She always gives you the most disgusted look and tone whenever she calls your drink or when you ask for something. She seems pretty happy when she’s chatting with her coworkers, though. Don’t be too offended when you get snark from her… she just hates every customer equally lol.

I have had good coffee here everytime. My only issue is with the staff, one barista in particular always has the worst attitude. Her customer service reeks of someone who does not want to work there, or at any Starbucks… or maybe even at all for that matter. I am used to friendly, welcoming customer service at every Starbucks I’ve gone to in this city. She has managed to break that consistency with a stale frown and cold disposition. This morning she greeted me with a heavy and lifeless«Hi…,» rang in my order, asked if I wanted anything else and then stared at me. I assume she was waiting for payment(she didn’t say a total — and those screens don’t always tell you the final amount) so I gave her my debit card, which she almost snatched from me, and she didn’t give me a receipt. I don’t know her name but she definitely stands out from her fellow baristas… not in a good way :-/

I hate to give this Starbucks such a bad review because it’s the closest to where I work and the people for the most part are nice enough. I just don’t think they are good listeners. I cannot count the times I have received the wrong order(I buy the same thing everyday). Several times, I have been given coffee instead of the tea I asked for. They never get my milk right either. I once repeated that I wanted whole milk in my misto three times to the cashier and I still got skim. You may scoff thinking that is a stupid thing to complain about but if I wanted my drink mixed with pond water, I would ask for that. What is this conspiracy of forcing bland, fat free and therefore taste-free milk on me?! Gah!

To be completely honest. I prefer Dunkin donuts to Starbucks any day. But I don’t drink coffee. I’m a 100% tea drinker and I needed tea one morning after a long night of partying. I went to this Starbucks in the Westin hotel. The staff was super friendly. Every time in the past that I have ordered from a Starbucks. I say a large tea. They always correct me and say it’s a vente. This place never questioned me. The staff was super friendly. The location was really busy for 3 days straight in the morning. There was line way out the door. I would recommend this Starbucks. The staff was really friendly. My large tea cost $ 2.15 which isn’t bad for a Starbucks. PROS –location –friendly staff CONS: — long line — you have to add mike and sugar yourself

Considering the craziness of Starbucks, I was elated to receive such fantastic customer service when I called there today. When I told the woman on the phone that I needed a copy of a receipt from almost a week ago, I could tell that this wasn’t her usual request. Nonetheless, she(Kelsey — not sure if I’m spelling it right) was VERY friendly and patient and helpful. Within minutes, she found the information I needed. And when she realized that she wouldn’t be able to print it, she quickly trouble-shooted again and took a snapshot of the screen with her phone and sent it to me via text. Thank god for technology and thank goodness for awesome employees like Kelsey who make our lives that much easier. Personally, I’m not a coffee drinker, but based on the service I received today, I would definitely recommend visiting this Starbucks.

This Starbucks is the one with the worst customer service. I hope I can give them no star. I’ve been there a couple of times and staff is not nice. They yell at you to get the sandwich when you don’t know where they will deliver it. There is also one time I ordered a small Latte but the staff turned out to give me a small coffee. They even argue with me that they didn’t hear I said small Latte. This is really the worst experience I’ve ever had. Will not return back to this shop again.

One of the best starbucks in Boston. Nestled in a corner near downtown crossing without all the rowdiness. Pros: — Very spacious with lots of tables and window seats so good for studying if you come at off hours during the weekday(I mean, what starbucks isn’t completely congested at 8AM, 12PM, and 5PM?). — Has a bathroom(not like the smaller ones near Tufts Medical). — Across the street from Chipotle in case you get hungry during studying. — Friendly staff.

Great Starbucks. It’s extremely convenient for where I work(the ground floor of my building). However, the layout inside for flow of customers is sincerely lacking during a rush and that’s my only real complaint. Staff is «Starbucks friendly» and helpful even when it’s busy. This is a great place to go and read after work, with plenty of seating.

I was staying at the Inter Continental(no valet parking) Hotel down the street and ventured on this Starbucks location New Year’s Eve morning. I find it odd that the Starbucks down across from South Station opens at 8 am but this one earlier. Thank god it does. I like the small location, the front windows which allow you to sit and look out down the street and just take it all in. Staff was nice, no hassle with my refill, greeted me. What more could you ask for.

Same olé Same olé mostly just like any other Starbucks. Hot drinks? Yes Friendly staff? Yes Pretty quick? Yes(though in the morning the line can be really long so avoid rush hour times. It forms an awkward U-shape) Limited selection on food? Yes(again wish they would carry some vegan pastries/sandwiches. I do like their oatmeal). I go to this one not during my work day but before in the morning if I really need to wake up. I like their community bulletin board.

I hardly ever go to Starbucks. Their selection of tea is pitiful, but someone offered to buy me a drink… it would be impolite to say no. Price: Well, the prices are pretty high, but keep in mind that most of the items on the menu are specialty drinks. Décor: This place was OK, I don’t really remember seeing any places to sit, and I took my tea to go anyway. There is definitely some employee emphasis here: by the pick-up station there was a bulletin board with names and photos of everyone that works there. It was cool to see the employees pictured, it somehow made it more personal. Service: Actually the barista and the cashier seemed nice. No eye rolls today. Food/Presentation: Hot Chai Tea Latte was tasty and very sweet. No need to add sugar. Location: It’s located in some office building near South Station. Generally they are EVERYWHERE, but this was particularly convenient as I was just leaving a meeting and was ducking out of the cold weather. Recap: Price: 3⁄5 Décor: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Food/Presentation: 4⁄5 Location 3⁄5 Total: 3.4

I’m so addicted, that’s why I keep coming back! Well that, and the super awesome convenience you provide me by being in my work building. I wish that some of the baristas would stop playing favorites sometimes(sure my tune would change if I were one of them, but I guess I have a forgettable face? Or I order boring drinks?) The mornings where I am served by someone with a smile honestly make my day. It’s sweet. Wish it would happen more Instead, because everyone else in the area and beyond shares the same addiction as I do, the lines tend to be long and the orders get mixed up and smiles just do not come as freely. C’est la vie.

Okay, I am a converted Boston fan. Granted I was visiting for work and did not have much time to truly revel in my hours of freedom, but I had just finished walking through Boston Common and my flight was going out in about 3 hours, so I swished into this Starbucks looking for Internet access as well as my usual latte for a quick pick-me-up. The temperature had dropped considerably during my stay here to a low of 47 degrees the night before on Sunday(Saturday was humid and hot!) I ordered the Red Sox latte in celebration of the Sox win. And I did not mind that it was a typical latte with whipped cream, but they threw a bunch of red sugared sprinkles on top. I could live with that. The baristas were friendly and chatty, even more appropriate, since I loved listening to the accents. I also logged on to catch up on emails and had a view of the walkway next to me where every 5 minutes or so, a bunch of nicely suited men and women walked briskly by, on their way to the finance district. They have a wireless hotspot here powered by T Mobile. For $ 9.99, you get a day access and it signed me on quickly. The coffee here was quite good, and looks like they make more liberal use of the steamed milk, which is good for me since I like my lattes a bit more creamy. I left, to get conveniently lost on my way back to the parking garage. Sheesh, giving the standing Asian stereotype an affirmation.
