Legally, they seem to go by Rainbow Laundry, but their sign still says Stork?
The person who runs the place is quite nice. I did the drop off and wash/​fold which is 75 cents a lb. You have to arrange pick up which is variable times with the person in charge. Sadly, the lack of consistency of service (no transparency of scale so you know how much your clothes weigh) and the fact that my clothes got burnt out is why I must give a 2 star. I could have requested compensation, but it was also not offered. Either way, my clothes are burnt and nothing changes this. I know mistakes happen so I didn’t want to give the person a hard time, but some can be fixed and some cannot be. My stuff is ruined and even my laundry bag melted onto other things.
Unfortunately, I cannot trust to ever go back.

I’ve had a broken washer and dryer for nearly a year now and I’ve managed to man up and do most of my laundry by hand this entire time. I finally sought treatment for being stupid and cheap and decided to send my laundry out until I can afford a new machine. Why not go to a laundromat you ask? Bite me I say, I am stupid and I have every right to be — that’s why. So I called Stork and they sent somebody over within an hour on a Saturday and took literally all of my soiled nasties, t-​shirts, socks, sheets, towels, undies — you name it and I have one of them soiled. Literally 24 hours later they called me and arranged a drop off. I paid for roughly 40 pounds of laundry by check and I cried a happy cry as I rolled in a pile of neatly folded socks and towels. God bless these magnificent little laundry people.

they come and pick up my dirty clothes, wash dry and fold and bring them back to me all within 24 hours!
the woman on the phone is so helpful and accommodating and she folds everything so neatly!

have used a few services in boston and none compare. the owner is super invested in making sure everything is perfect. as opposed to some chain places where no body gives a shit if they lose your stuff. good for both laundry delivery and dry cleaning.

Ummmm… Hello? Stork Laundry phone lines are «disconnected or changed» and 411 has no record of them. Damn. My beau is all like «You can do your laundry manually.» He is WRONG.

Doing laundry in Dorchester is the suck. But then again, I haven’t exactly followed through on the process. After leaving our apartment in Somerville which had an in-​unit washer-​dryer, we were out of luck with finding a suitable alternative in terms of laundromats in Dot. Our first attempt was on a Saturday… which proved useless. And then the car broke. So here I am NOT hauling mother loads of laundry a half-​mile round trip, and I am NOT doing laundry in small loads every night.
And then I found Stork. The first time I called was on a snowy day, so everything was out of whack, but they picked up my laundry around 9pm, then had it ready to go by noon the next day (lucky me wasn’t working!). When it was returned, my 41 lbs of Laundry cost $ 29.50. I’m not sure what all this Laundry Bag for $ 15/​$ 25 is all about… but it goes by the pound.
The second time I called (just last night) they arrived for pick up within 30 minutes! Yay! And at the same time as my pizza delivery, SCORE!
I know I easily had more than 41 lbs. this time, so I’m interested to see the cost of it, but it’s definitely worth it if you don’t have a car. The clothes come back smelling great, folded neatly, and are super clean.

Ok… VERY impressed. I used Stork for the first time recently after the great reviews and they lived up to every expectation. They came mid-​afternoon to pick up my laundry less than an hour after I first called and it was at my door the same night! In my opinion, the $ 15 bag is enough for two people’s laundry after a week so the price is very reasonable.
Also, I live in the Bay Village and as they’re located in South Boston, I was ecstatic to learn they came over here. I highly recommend them!

They continuously do a great job for me! Turnaround in a couple hours, well folded, cloths smell good, what more could you ask for!
