Styled By G

I was looking for a new place to get my hair cut and found Styled By G on Unilocal.I am really pleased! It is a small shop and G is relaxed, attentive, knowledgable and skilled. I have had some bad cuts in the past, having curly hair and have been nervous about trying new stylists, but G is great. She really listened to what I wanted and I have left happy each time. She takes her time and does a great job!

Styled By G was recommended to me by a friend years ago and I will never turn back. I am pretty sure all of my friends go to her now and I continue to send anyone who needs their hair done to her. She is nothing short of incredible, spectacular and magical. She is a creative genius and my hair has never looked better. Her mastery of color (and cut) is untouchable. She added some bayalage highlights to my auburn hair and I have never loved my hair more in my life. Not only can she do hair, but she is one of the coolest people I know. I love the spirit of the salon — calm, soothing and unpretentious. She is also a style maven and will give you tips on everything and anything to do with fashion and styling. A true creative gem I would definitely recommend to all!

Can’t say enough good things about G, she’s been doing my hair for close to ten years now and she just gets better. I can bring her a picture and she’ll replicate the exact cut (or color) perfectly, every time. She also just did my wedding and we all looked incredible! The new salon is perfect, cozy, bright and the perfect spot to spend your afternoon getting a new or updated look.

I have been seeing G for the last 13+ years. I have followed G from her beginnings on Newbury Street to now at her own studio. G is a master stylist, professional and an artist at hair coloring. – A few years ago, I was working on a pediatric unit caring for this child from Iceland. The child’s mother was here for a few months in the hospital and was not feeling so good and wanted a haircut. I sent her to G and she gave her an amazing make over for free. Goes to show you, what kind of person G is and how big her heart is!

I have been seeing G for the past 14 years. G is the REAL «Best of Boston» for cut and color. I can say that with complete honesty, because I’ve actually been to some «Best of Boston» picks for «best cut» and «best brunette color», none of which even come close to G. I have long, thick, dark brown hair, and I don’t even need to tell G what I want to do each time, I walk in the door and G just knows. If you’re a first timer, bring a picture, tell G exactly what you want, G will listen, guide you every step, and give you exactly what you walked in hoping for. I live in Beverly Hills, land of the best, expensive stylists, and I’ve never been to any of them. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair besides G, even if that means waiting 6 months for a cut and color. And let me tell you, even after 6 months, my hair still looks great. G owns the salon, so you don’t have to deal with annoying receptionists, or have to wait on anyone, it’s just you and G. G is hilarious and very personable, so you will feel at ease in G’s chair. G will tell you exactly what your hair needs and G is always right. Trust G. My chestnut brown color is always dark, shiny, and perfect, and no one. NO ONE. cuts a «V» like G can. Do your hair a favor. Trust me, trust G.
