Okay, so I don’t plan on actually buying books here. I am one of those students like Melissa M. who tries to get by without books: use your notes, use old editions in the library, or, worse case scenario, buy a used book on Amazon. That said, I came here looking for Suffolk tee shirts and stuff. I was extremely pleased that their prices are a lot lower than my alma mater, BU. A tee shirt that would cost like $ 17 at BU here is like $ 12. Sweatshirts that would be $ 40 at BU were around $ 24 here. Sweetness. They didn’t have a ton in stock, however, and were out of a lot of sizes. Nonetheless, I walked out with a sweet new Suffolk tee shirt, some random hippie magnets for my mom and, my prize find, a Suffolk University pint glass that was on clearance for 75CENTS! Whoo hoo!

Going with a conservative estimate I’d say I bought 10 books here, and 8 of those were during my freshman year. Yeah, you tend to get turned off of the bookstore when they refuse to buyback that used math book because you took notes in it, after they sold it to you with page after page filled with the previous owners’ highlighter and pen.

See all the books the prof is having you buy. 6th edition too. Pricey. Guess what, you don’t need em. Borrow someone else’s and don’t pay for any book. I am a proud grad of Suffolk and did buy books for the first few years and then became wise and decided that I can get by with no books. I was an honors student too!
