I have never in my entire life enjoyed going to the dentist, until now. Mind you, I don’t fear the dentist as some people do, but this was hands down the best dental experience of my life. I found Dr. Naghieh via a friend who goes to Dr. Skull in her office, but she got better reviews(only one, so I wanted to add). I was a new patient, her office was great, and I got an appointment almost right away, they seem to be very good at filling in cancellations. When I showed up, her office staff was knowledgeable and friendly while they took my information. She was running right on time. I had a full set of x-rays taken, and then she came in to inspect me. Now I’ve never had a dentist inspect me before my teach were cleaned, which if you think about is a really good idea so they can see where you have stains, might not be brushing right etc. The amazing part, she does all of her own cleanings! She was so gentle, thorough, and thoughtful. Her assistant also took my night-guard to be cleaned, and I’ve never seen it in such good shape. She took time at the end to answer my questions, tell me about the state of my health, and make sure I was comfortable with everything. On top of all that, I got a goodie bag, good toothpaste and a real toothbrush that I will really use, not the one that you throw away. I thought this was the best experience I’ve ever had, till I got home 3 days later, and got a hand signed note from Dr. This said«It was a pleasure seeing you recently. I look forward to providing for all of your periodontal and oral hygiene needs in the future and to being a part of your total health care team. If you have any questions regarding the course of treatment being offered to you, or any suggestions that would make your visits here more comfortable, my staff and I would welcome them.» Wow. Selfishly, I thought twice about writing this review, with my only fear being that I won’t be able to get an appointment when she is discovered by others.

Everyone needs a dentist. Some of us sometime need a periodontist. Dr. Taraneh Naghieh is both, and a real natural at putting patients at ease and helping you keep your mouth and teeth healthy. Dr. Naghieh takes the creepiness out of dental procedures. She is relaxed and friendly, and though I have historically dreaded the dentist, she does an excellent job of keeping pain and fear far away. A discussion of unpalatable things like gum surgery is bracketed by a discussion of the Rolling Stones concert and sushi restaurants, reminding you that, yes, life is good, and will continue to be good after this visit. The Copley Square location is central to much of the city, about a 1 minute walk from the T Green Line Copley Station. Support staff at the front desk are beyond cheerful and well organized, they are warm, genuine people. The dental assistants are great too. I’ve had two wonderfully charming women. A nicer dentist would be hard to find.
