Food court fare at its worst. Indistinguishable from Chinese fast food. Fatty meat and too much grease. Nothing Thai except the name.

For food court food, Thai Accent actually has pretty good food, and it’s probably my favorite place inside«The Food Experience» at the Corner Mall. I’m a huge fan of their Thai Fried Rice and Orange Chicken, and it’s hard to beat $ 6 for the portion size.

By far the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Everything tasted old, and there was so much GREASE. Holy crap. This place could substitute for a Jiffy Lube if need be. Overall gross place with greasy food equaled a nasty experience.

I wish they would use less garlic in the food. If they cut down on their garlic, then I would eat there more often.

I have eaten at plenty of food courts, and I obviously would not hold them to typical«dine in» standards, but after eating here I was completely underwhelmed and wish I would’ve just gotten Subway or the Japanese chain. Granted, for $ 7, I got tofu mango curry, fried rice and a bottled water, but I found the food to be totally flavorless. The fried rice had sad looking frozen peas and carrots, and the«curry» was just steamed tofu with a couple of vegetables and a watery sauce. I have dubbed it the worst meal I have had since moving to Boston, and next time I’m at the food court, Thai accent is not getting my $ 7. *Important to note though– the food court IS wheelchair accessible, you just have to go in different entrances depending on what you want to access. Dunkin Donuts and Sushi are on a different level, while the other places, and the restroom is on the upper level.

Love the pineapple chicken & vegetable fried rice. Sometimes I switch up and get the curry chicken.

A good place for a fast lunch while at work or a quick snack after work. The food is tasty, unpretentious Thai. Folks behind the counter are friendly. To their credit, their spicy basil chicken is actually very spicy. Nothing is bland. Portions are plentiful.

I keep getting different stories from them about their«vegetarian» entres. First they say they’re vegetarian, then they say that they are vegetarian but have oyster sauce in them(which is like saying something is kosher and has pork in it.) Then they deny it. I don’t know to trust them.

First time eating fast Thai food EVER. I was pleasantly surprised. The workers are cute and were very insistent about letting us sample what we wanted before we ordered. My friends got the chicken curry and liked it, my hub got the spicy basil chicken and liked it. I had the pineapple chicken– something I’ve never seen in a restaurant before. It was GOOD. I am usually a ‘white meat chicken only’ person and many pieces of meat in this dish are made with thigh meat, but it was tolerable. They give you a CRAPTON of food for such a cheap price. The steamed rice was cooked well. I have enough for lunch tomorrow and I’m not dying of botulism or anything of the sort, so I recommend this place if you want something that’s tasty and not as overdone as Sarku Japan(in the way of Asian food court food). Can’t wait to eat my leftovers! Since the Rapture didn’t kill us all, I can have them tomorrow. We ate as the Rapture should have occurred– never thought that could have been my LASTMEALONEARTH when I have already proclaimed on my profile what it should have been go look and see! Now that I think of it, I’m pretty upset by this. Where is Chick Fil A and my momma(who makes the best breadsticks) when I need them?!?

Nice people giving samples when I accidentally ventured into the Corner Mall for lunch. I have eaten almost everything in there at some point or another, so I thought I would try this in my continuous hunt for good Thai food. The Pad Thai was dry, barely had any taste and had no good stuff… no chicken, no shrimp, nothing. I didn’t finish it.

worst thai food ever. I can’t even recognize the food and after one or two bite, I have to drop the food to the bin.

Not only is your place fuh-fugly, but it smells and tastes like regurgitation. NEVER going back.

I went here the other day because I was in the Corner Mall and everything else there seems like I have had it like 100000 times… so I decided to be different. Ummm… wish i went with Indian. I got the spicy basil noodles which were alright, the spicy chicken which was sweet as hell and drenched in sweet sludge, and the lemongrass chicken which didn’t have even the faintest lemongrass flavor. 1 star because the basil noodles were alright and 1 star because they have huge portions… but seriously who wants them. I was very disappointed and will not return.

Squeek Squeek Squeek… No it’s not a mouse. But that was the sounds my tofu was making when I ordered Tofu curry here. I got a meal of Tofu Curry and Pad Thai. They portions are huge! I told her to stop and she still slapped on another ladle of Pad Thai. The prices are cheap but the food is poor so you really get what you pay for. The Pad Thai was good but the Tofu was horrible! It was over cooked and spongy in texture, a clear indication from the noise it made when I had a bite.

I gave this place more than its fair share of tries, but every time it «disagreed» with me. I will never go to this place again, I wanted to like it so bad be cause there is nothing really for Thai food downtown. save your cash, go somewhere else.

Food court lunches only to be eaten in moments of Thai desperation. Nice people. Everything is like $ 5, which I like. I had a breaded chicken dish in basil sauce twice. I think they call it Homestyle Chicken or something. The first time it was surprisingly tasty, but the second time I felt ill afterward. Stay away from the bland red curry chicken. One brave day, I also tried the«Seafood Madness.» It wasn’t bad for $ 5, consisted of mostly imitation crab in a pleasant brown sauce.

This is a food court joint. Do you know what a food court is? You do. They are pretty gross, and the food sits for a long time at the«ethnic» places. Luckily, Thai Accent steps it up a little. I am a hungry vegan and this place gave sizeable portions which I was happy about. The white rice was really tender and cooked just right, and that was the highlight of my meal. Decide for yourself if that’s good or bad(seriously, some people really like rice!) The tofu curry was kind of bland(note: I love spicy). The tofu was a little spongy and over-cooked too. The veggies were crisp and fresh but were in some strange translucent sauce that had a weird taste, so I didn’t finish half of them. The service was excellent and the woman working the counter was very knowledgeable about the vegan options. Seeing as how this is a 2 minute walk from my current part-time job, and the price is manageble, I’m sure I’ll be back. Next time it will be the kung pao tofu. If I arrived as soon as new batches of food were hitting the buffet, I’m sure the food would be much more excellent. But I’m not going to sit around and wait for that.

This is a fun place I go to about once a month. I’d give it 3 ½ stars. I chose four because, for a place in a food court, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Its really perfect for those late days at work. I go and get a Linner(lunch+dinner). Three items crammed in a Styrofoam box with a thai-iced Tea. Its enough for one huge lunch, or as I do, something to pick at from 3 to 7 as I finish my work day, usually resulting in me being full enough to skip dinner. Its all for 8.90. Not cheap. but you do get a hell of a lot of food for that. Plus the tea tends to be over caffeinated. The Pad Thai is usually good(not great, a bit greasy, but still tasty). There’s the ginger chicken with strips of ginger in it. I always enjoy the yellow curry. Unfortunately, its kind of hit or miss(and even more so when they start experimenting with the menu) on what you get. Some will be great, most is good, and occasionally they’ll drop the ball and serve you something bland. I can’t say I’ll miss this place when if I get a job that isn’t down the street, but it is really convenient for now, and I’ll keep going back. PS: Bring cash.

NETF(#). It’s a stall. It has a facsimile of Pad Thai and now«Spicy Noodles’. They have introduced a chicken Larb/Prakow? like dish under the moniker of «Grandma’s Chicken». Not really innovative, more friendly than they used to be. For years there was this witch of woman on the register. The staff now is much, much friendlier. The real decline was when then went from giving out real vinegar-chili sauce to packet sauce, which you still have to ask for. * most dishes FAIL * Chicken Basil is ok. * $ 10 for 2 items and drink, pricey for what it is. * Still a better choice than Sbarro, Subway, and Mcdonalds. I work just up the street from the Corner Mall, but it was a while before I ever ventured inside. When I finally decided to give it a try, I almost gave up before stumbling upon this little gem. I walked past kiosk after kiosk without seeing anything remotely vegan-friendly(let alone appetizing). Then, at the very rear of the food court, stood Thai Accent. Oh, be still my heart. Ok, their selection isn’t huge: they’ve got, maybe, seven or eight selections at any given time. But they are amazingly vegan-friendly. Thai Accent usually has at least three tofu dishes available: The Tofu Prik King, Tofu Curry, and the Tofu with Aromatic Mushrooms. They’ve also got a great vegetable mix and tasty vegetable spring rolls on hand as well. I’m not a fan of the Tofu with Aromatic Mushrooms(it’s dull and tasteless) but the other tofu dishes are to die for. Don’t worry, my omnivorous friends, they do have meat dishes: there’s usually a chicken curry and at least one other meat-based dish. The value at this place is amazing. One selection with white rice is just under $ 5.00. If you go for the veggie stuff, they offer a special that let’s you get two veggie items and white rice for just over $ 5.00. The portions are so huge at this place that I’ve gotten into the habit of eating half for lunch and taking the rest home for dinner. The service is awesome! The woman that works there always has a smile on her face and genuinely seems appreciative of the business. She even says hi to me if she sees me in another part of the mall. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the area.
