I’ve passed by the Landing a few times before and it’s always packed and look like people are having a good time. My coworkers and I stopped by after our meeting yesterday around 3PM. There was a good amount of people there. I like how it’s outside and you can sip on a drink and people watch. I ordered the bourbon cooler… It was on point. I didn’t get the name of the bartender but it was a lady. She’s good. The drinks were decent price, 10/drink and the wine was like 6.50/glass. Overall, it’s a chill spot for a drink in the summer time. I would definitely come back! **found my bartender’s name, it’s Virginia.

Fun place to stop for a drink in a GREAT area on the Waterfront at Long Wharf in Boston. We had just come from a Ferry from Spectacle Island when we decided to go over and have a Beer on this HOTHOTHOT day(92 degrees, we hit the record!) Our waitress Catherine was super friendly and even tried to help me find my lost earring! I would have LOVED to have tried any of their«Fishbowl» drinks but since we were just 2, we thought we had better stick with 1 Sam Adams each. My next trip there has to include that GIANT Fishbowl! Great atmosphere especially on a warm summer like day. Umbrellas up and it seemed like it was Tourists AND Bostonians. We didn’t try any food, that will be next time.

Beautiful place to sit out by the water. But drinks over priced and there isn’t a bathroom there, which is tough when you’re drinking a lot. Got two Coronas which were delicious as always but came out to $ 12.50. Also split a fish bowl which was really good as well. Finished with a nice sunburn.

This is a pretty happening spot and fab patio bar, popular with tourists and Bostonians alike. Anyplace you can get a shared drink in a fishbowl with neon colored straws, makes it pretty special in my book. This was a stop on a bar crawl planned by my two daughters for my 60th. All of the stops but one were located somewhere on the Boston water front and at 4 pm on a summer Saturday, the Landing was packed. The 6 of us shared a fishbowl, the Sun Kissed punch, which was a bit on the sweet side but tasty and festive. I would definitely return to this seasonal location.

Have you ever had a meal with friends where you wound up laughing so hard you couldn’t breathe? The Landing is one of the places where, if you go with buddies, you’re likely to have that experience. The food is very good, and it’s not trying to be anything more than it is — really good seafood and pub food served in an atmosphere that’s «Cheers,» Boston North Shore edition. I had the wedge salad with lobster, which I *highly* recommend. I also recommend the chowder, which was top-notch. My buddies had steamed lobster and fish’n’chips, which were also apparently outstanding … ’cause they wouldn’t share! We started with fried calamari and fried clams — the calamari had a really superb light tomato sauce alongside that could have stood on its own as a dish. DAMN, that was good. You win the bonus round if you get to have Rory working your table. I think he’s part-owner of the place, and is both the soul of perfect service and funny as hell.

First stop of the night on a Saturday evening, and I’m glad it was! The Landing was the perfect place to enjoy the breezy summer weather right by the water, with some GREAT oldschool music blasting all throughout. There was no wait, and seemed to go through phases of being SUPER packed, to dwindling down, then getting packed again, but then again, that’s typical of any bar. The waitress was good with all our orders, and making sure everyone had their drinks, I was impressed seeing that she was seeing so many tables at once! We got one of the fish bowls, and it was definitely much sweeter than other cocktails, but it was a great amount for three girls… I was feeling pretty buzzed after finishing it! My only complaint was that the tables were really sticky, and the bathrooms(public ones next to the bar) was really gross. However, they were playing some old school 90s music, with a mix of some top 100 billboard music too, so I honestly had a blast. The ambiance was splendid, the service was also fantastic, and nothing super special about the drinks, but they were fine! I definitely want to go again before Boston winter hits us.

Went to the landing on Saturday around 9PM for a few drinks with some friends before we headed out elsewhere. When I got there I ordered a beer and paid with a $ 20 bill and got a $ 10 and some ones back. Left a tip and continued talking to friends. When I went to get a second beer, I paid with the ten dollar bill given to me by the bar. I waited about 5 minutes at the bar for my change, and it never came. I didn’t think much about this and just assumed she thought I was leaving her a 4 dollar tip. Was not to happy about this because she didn’t deserve a 4 dollar tip so I figured I just wouldn’t tip her next time. When I walked back over to my group I was grabbed by two bouncers and forced out of the bar without any idea as to why. When I tried talking with them I was just yelled at and told I had committed a felony and the cops were on the way. I continued to ask what he was talking about and he said I paid with counterfeit money. I started laughing at this as I didn’t have counterfeit money, and if I did, it was handed to me by the bar in the first place. When I asked to see the bill he was talking about, and offering to pay with the a different bill I had in my wallet I was yelled at again and told the cops were on the way. This bouncer had left the area to what I believe was to call the cops. While he was gone I started talking to another bouncer who said that he doesn’t think I had any idea of what happened and actually felt bad that I got thrown out when I obviously had no idea as to what was going on. During this the original bouncer with the attitude came back over and got in my face screaming that the police were on the way and I needed to leave the area. At this point I was standing on the sidewalk outside of the bar and I told him to tell the cops ill be waiting for them. My group ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere but the overall situation was out of control. Found out that one of my friends was also friends with one of the bouncers, and was informed that when they cashed out the registers at night they found multiple counterfeit bills in the register.

This place has a great atmosphere, an amazing location, and good drinks. If they stepped up their food game a little it would get 5 Stars. I realize they don’t have the facilities or space for meals, but the few small bites they offer are seriously lacking. Go for the drinks and the setting though, as long as you eat elsewhere you won’t be disappointed!

The fishbowls here are so fun! I’ve never had one before and I was not disappointed. We got the sunrise something, it’s basically a piña colada. It’s sweet but so good! The bowls run $ 26, but it is a TON of alcohol so if you have a big group don’t worry about it, it’s totally worth it. Also, the location is great!

I like it. It is what it is: a rando, outdoor bar. You’re by the harbor. Lovely location. Want a beer? Have it out of a fun plastic cup. Want a frozen beverage? Have a frozen beverage. Hungry? Well, you’re at a bar, so here’s a hot dog, but there are a ton of establishments with more substantial vittles in the immediate vicinity. Just a great, low-maintenance, clean spot to enjoy the weather and an adult beverage. Nicely done.

Not a bad spot to grab a drink after work but wouldn’t be high on my list of places to return to. In terms of drinks, got a margarita that was a bit on the sweet side; I would’ve preferred to taste the alcohol a bit more than I did. Also, sort of a homogeneous crowd of people who likely work in the area made for a less then diverse environment. Overall, not my favorite, but I didn’t really dislike it too much and could be persuaded to come back.

Cal. This waiter is so disrespectful She told me to fuck off when I asked her to get a drink for me while I’ve been sitting her for 30 minutes. I can’t believe this service. Then my friend asked her to charge his phone and she wouldn’t give his phone back. And she said uh get off me. Fire this girl she makes your business lose money.

Went out of my way to come here because I wanted to try their fishbowls. Place was crowded and getting service was nearly impossible. Finally I order a fishbowl and the bartender says«you need to have six people with you in order to get that.» UM, okay. Awesome.

Great ambiance + cheap drinks + beautiful people + beautiful waterfront location, what more could you ask for??? This has probably got to be one of the best after work drink locations in Boston. The clientele is young professionals from the area looking for a good time after work. Pricing is very reasonable and the bartenders are friendly and SUPER quick to serve and close out your tab. We got 4 drinks for a little over 30 bucks and the pour was really GENEROUS! Music was great. It can get pretty packed so if you want a relaxed atmosphere, this is not for you. It’s too bad that I don’t work in Boston but I’d go there all the time if I did.

Went there last monday. The service was not poor it was non exsistant. We sat at the bar for a good 15 minutes. Made eye contact with both male bartenders, who stood on the opposite side of the bar talking and I believe«sampling» beer. Who knows regardless this is the first place Ive ever just got up and left from because of not even being acknowledged as a customer. The bar also smelt like hell! Sticky with beer. Too bad because it would attract more people during slow times if they’d clean up every once and a while and staffed decent bar tenders. If i could give 0 stars I would. Go literally anywhere else. Hell stop by Coogan’s even that dive is cleaner and has a better staff.

When I was a fresh faced recruiter, new to Boston, working my butt off in the financial district, I used to love the landing. My team and I would go here after work on sunny days and sit on the patio and have a few expensive drinks and all would be well. I’ve been to the Landing a few times recently as an adult, had have left disappointed. First, at age 34, I think I was probably the oldest person there last time I went on a weekday. This place is definitely for the younger crowd. It’s hard to find a place to sit on the week days unless you go very early in the day. Drinks are overpriced. The beer list is small. There are always a lot of bros there. The only time I’d go back at this point is during a weekend in the middle of a sunny day before it gets crowded.

We came here for Patrick’s welcome home party. We were expecting a bigger crowd but only two of us showed up. I felt bad, so I suggested that we sit outside and look at all the boats and get a fish bowl, but Gster shot down the idea. They got the corona bucket, and I got some fruity blue drink. It was wayyyyy too sugary. The Landing is the perfect spot to meet for drinks, watch a game, and sit outside and people watch. Or have a welcome home party. It will be crowded(Except for our group), but why go to a bar and not be with other people? It has beautiful views, fun drink options, and enjoy the ocean and the city at the same time. I would suggest sticking with beer, or the fish bowl, cus the mixed drinks are pure sugar and alchohol! That is a recipe for a hangover! Our waitress was really nice, and even said they can make the mixed drinks with ½ sugar ½ something else so its not as bad. I think she was more excited about Patrick’s welcome home than the rest of us, if you know what I mean! Note: use the bathrooms at the Marriott(they are public !). a little nicer than the ones on the wharf!

I’m a sucker for watching ballgames at the Fenway bars, but when a friend and I were looking for a sports-friendly spot near North Station and on the water, The Landing was a perfect solution! First off, the bartenders here rock! Busy as they may be, they’re happy to dish out free tastes of their exhaustive beer selection. After a round of beers, we explored their fishbowl menu. Due to MA regulations, certain fishbowls require a minimum number of people, so the two of us had to stick with the«guppy» size(pic: ). Don’t let the size fool you, these suckers pack a punch! With four flavor choices, we opted for the Sunkissed Punch(Bacardi pineapple fusion rum /Bacardi rock coconut rum /pineapple &OJ), and both found the drink to be tropical and refreshing. Food-wise, if you’re looking for anything above pita chips & hummus, or chips & guac, eat elsewhere beforehand — the menu is very limited here, but prices are definitely fair all-around. Décor was cool, especially under the bar tent, where color changing LED lights bounce off a montage of ceiling decorations and makes for a cool effect( ). Now if only the Yankees won tonight, our night would have been complete! Either way, The Landing will definitely be a part of our next warm-weather Boston trip!
