I love this place! Great lobster roll and chowder! The ahi tuna burger is great too. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been here several times. I bring my family here. Love the waterfront proximity. Great bar at night! Give it a shot! Great cocktails!

Don’t Bother Service was crummy and slow, and food was crummy and slow. If you’re in the area and need something to eat, go to Joe’s right across the park. Sure it’s a chain, but the food tastes like it should and its not too hard to find seating right next to the water, something that Tia’s surprisingly lacks. Not to mention it’s cheaper than the unwarranted prices charged at Tia’s

Wow what a shitty place over priced three day old salad and spinach artichoke dip never had it cold before or kind of cold and kind of warm just a waste of money

Loud and overpriced bar. If you really want the Boston experience just head down the street to the north end.

We sat at a table and thought someone would come over, but no one did, so we went to the sticky bar to order our drinks. 90% sure they gave my friend the wrong beer. My margarita tasted strong but just in the ‘you know they didn’t rip you off’ kind of way. Fried mac n cheese was super cheesey, but didn’t taste like much to me.

My mouth still waters for the lobster bisque. If you are visiting Boston and want a great place to eat on the waterfront, I recommend Tia’s. They won’t disappoint. I always get the steamed Lobster, its a tradition! Outdoor or indoor they have lots of tables. You can even end up with live entertainment if you time it right. This is a fun place to have drinks and enjoy yourself in the summer months. I also remember having key-lime pie for dessert, the perfect way to end your meal.

Tia’s is completely overrated. Went there on a Thursday night for drinks with friends to kick off the summer and waited in line for 40 minutes just to be greeted by a sea of Vineyard Vines, Sperry’s and many shades of pastel pants. If that’s your scene, then Tia’s bar is for you. It also took me nearly 10 minutes just to get to the bathroom because of the amount of people stuffed into this place. Not to mention my shoes sticking to the floor didn’t help me get there any quicker. As far as the food… went there a few days after to see if the food would be a better experience than the one I had at the bar. Nope. Don’t get me wrong, Tia’s has the best summer atmosphere you could want – ocean breeze, best people watching, etc. But the $ 60 bill was just painful. I paid $ 7 for corn on the cob. Corn on the cob with no butter??? Is that a thing? Didn’t think so. My crab cake was good, but I didn’t even eat the bun it came on because it was so soggy. I don’t even want to know why nor could I figure it out. Our waitress was nice but slow as molasses. We were in no rush but when I asked for the butter for my corn, my corn was too cold to even get the butter to melt. blah. Whatever, Tia’s will always be around. Just wish they could make some major improvements and become a decent place, especially with their prime real estate.

Extremely rude staff at the front. I’m from Canada and they said I needed a passport to get in, but when I asked why, their response wasn’t «it’s just our policy because we don’t know what the IDs look like», it was«because I f*cking hate Canadians». Don’t waste your time with this place.

The location makes this place a 5-star, but, it is definitely more of a lunch spot. It is very casual, food served in baskets & paper, and a large variety from a burger to lobster.

Alas, Tia’s bouncer said ‘I fucking hate Canadians’ and that we couldn’t enter. Really?

Very mixed review here– We were seated immediately, but the overall service could have been better. Great Mac n cheese balls, the drinks are watered down though. It’s a touristy spot near the waterfront but not bad to people watch and catch up with friends. All in all I wouldn’t come back to specifically go here but if we were here then I would prefer Tia’s over the other joints.

Great locations, but not as great service Have never eaten here, not sure how I feel about it. The bar is cool rn use half is inside and half is outside and it’s next to the harbor. Despite this, if you go to Tia’s on a Thrusfay after 9 prepare to wait in a 20 minute line. Also the staff is not so friendly and if you stay there until late they literally yell at you and force you to leave.

Had the ahi tuna sandwich. It was average and definitely needed its aioli to give it some flavor. Place had a fun vibe though and my friends seemed to like their meals. One of them orders her steaks medium well so I wouldn’t put much weight on her food opinions though.

Sat and waited for a greeting for 20 mins. No one even came to the table. Servers were standing around chatting with each other. Not a lot of people there at the time so it wasn’t busy at all. I asked one of the servers if we could order drinks. He told me that he would get our server, then never returned. I don’t even want to give one star, but sitting outside for the 20 mins was the hi light of our Tia’s experience. Horrible horrible service.

The food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t incredible. Highly recommend the buffalo tenders and macaroni balls. The salads weren’t bad, but the ahi tuna burger was not fresh. Wouldn’t recommend for the food, but the atmosphere can be a good time. Can’t give them more than a 3 though.

You were good a few years ago. What happened? The good thing this time around were the Mac and cheese balls. Bartender was nice, but I swear he gave me the wrong beer. I asked for Harpoon Summer but I swear I got bud light or something else. Alex M also tried some of my beer and came to the same conclusion. It was meh. Maybe it was meh before and I never noticed. Tip to people sitting at the bar: if you’re sitting, be prepared to go up to the bar and order what you want(food). It will then be brought to you.

For a food and drink establishment nestled in the Seaport, right by Faneuil Hall, one would think that Tia’s would this great eating and drink experience. Unfortunately, I think not. I came here a few nights ago with two of my fellow Unilocalers, and I was sorely disappointed. The service was non-existent, for starters. The three of us sat in the bar area, and no one acknowledged us in the time that we spent lingering there. We eventually got up to get drinks, and I was given a beer in a plastic cup. This may seem petty, but I wasn’t drinking outside nor was I there for a 1am rager — give me my beer in a glass. Alex M. ordered a margarita, and she seemed to enjoy it, while Nan ordered a beer and she and Alex were both convinced it was the wrong beer. I didn’t order anything to eat, but I’m glad I didn’t. For the price and the lack of quality in service, I don’t know if the extra money spent would have been worth it. I don’t plan on returning to Tia’s, especially because there are so many other good bars in the area. I suggest you consider following suit.

OK, I believe I need to write a review for CHRISTINE with the DARKHAIR because there are like 4 Christine waitresses here but she was unreal attentive and excellent. Came here for a private party on night of May 9 and Christine was GREAT at helping us throughout the night and bringing us all our drinks in a timely manner. She always found me around the bar & was like a personal waitress for me and my friend! I will for sure be back. It’s a great spot for private parties on the patio. The scene gets mobbed and bro like after 10:00 but oh well, #BostonLyfe. Love it and will for sure be back. Food doesn’t look great but I have never heard of anyone going to a place like this for a solid meal. It’s clearly a summer spot only.

Came here for an event for my grad program and we had to outside patio part. We ordered platters of buffalo wings, egg rolls, chips, dip, etc. We also had a drink ticket each, but the waitress really wasn’t too friendly. When I asked where I could get a drink they basically said go to the bar. Hmmmm… ok. The food was decent except for the dip. no one could tell what it was and it was not good. The place did have a good view… but it’s not anything special IMO

I came here with friends and we got multiple rounds of drinks, and the service was very prompt. It’s nice to eat the twin lobsters or fish and chips. If you can sit on the patio do it! Even if you’re just 15 min away from the center of Boston, you will feel like you’re on vacation for a bit. Truly excellent location.

A découvrir :)
