I just went to this location for the first time and I will not be going back. First of all, they don’t have their menu printed anywhere but behind the cashiers and the way the place is set up doesn’t allow you to look at it and try to figure out what you should order without standing in line and blocking other customers from ordering. As a result, people(including employees) start forcing you to make up your mind fast even though you haven’t really been able to peruse the menu. What’s even worse/funnier is that they have some equipment leaning on the wall that has the menu on it, basically blocking the menu. I don’t know who came up with this concept but that person is not smart. I mean, that’s just bad business and it could easily be fixed by having small printed menus available for people to check out and not stand in the way of those who are ready to order. Second, the wrap that I ended up ordering was not good. It wasn’t bad either but for $ 10 I was expecting something much more delicious and well-crafted. It was mediocre at best. Also, aside from the fact that it fell apart as soon as I took it out of paper that they had wrapped it in, it was so small that I am still hungry. So, needless to say, this was my first and last time at Tossed. There are so many better choices around the area, so I will be sticking to those and I recommend you do the same.

Entirely mediocre salad. Colossally inferior to the nearby Hale & Hearty. Bizarre ordering process. Nope, not again.

Nice, quick spot to grab lunch(not to mention a healthier alternative); tossed is located next to our headquarters at One Post Office Square. The salads are well portioned and the wraps seem to be on the smaller side, but are packed quite densely with delicious and fresh veggies. Reminds me a lot like the Protein Bar restaurants back in Chicago, will be coming again for lunch on the go — Best, Charlie

Expensive salad for rubber/chewy chicken and no bread :\ Go down the street to Pavia, affordable salads, fresh grilled chicken & great bread!

We ordered a late lunch for clients and they were very appreciative of the healthy options at Tossed. Everything was fresh and made correctly. Pickup was ready when I arrived and packaged nicely. Each sandwich and salad was labeled which was a huge help. I highly recommend Tossed for a healthy and fresh option. Previously we used Tossed to cater a large business lunch and that was done great too. We will continue to use Tossed.

So much money for so little food! Being hungry after spending $ 11 for a small salad is unacceptable

Food is decent, nothing special, but I needed a fast bite before an interview I was going on a couple roads down. I bought a tuna wrap on plain bread with lettuce. For some odd reason, the tuna has what looks like cranberries in it. Not sure if it makes the tuna smell better or what… Paid over $ 9.50 for just the wrap. No chips, no drink, no extras. The wrap is fresh, the employees were nice enough but not overly friendly. There’s a BoLoco nearby, I’d suggest that over Tossed, honestly. Not impressed with the prices at Tossed. Service was fast, but customer service could be improved.

I have been to Tossed a few times and won’t be going back. I gave them another chance today because an online ordering website offered a coupon. I got a Cobb salad and the avocado was completely rotten and smelled. I removed the avocado and anything that was near it. The rest of the salad was mediocre, at best. The bacon was soggy and didn’t even resemble bacon. The chicken is fresh from the package. I was only able to eat a few bites and I «tossed» the rest.

I’m writing the review as a business professional — someone just looking for a healthy tasty and efficient lunch. Tossed is tops for a salad — I’ve not had anything else on the menu, so my review is purely based on salads. They have an excellent selection of ingredients(including arugula and kale) and is a far better value for the money(especially compared to Cosi — where half my salad never even ends up in my bowl because the staff assembles the salads with such ferocity). For a healthy, dependable salad and menu with lots of variety — there’s no better option in the financial district.

I got a grilled chicken sandwich, the one they advertise in their store window for me and my husband and it was horrible! I had to throw it away as I wasn’t close by to go back. The chicken was so chewy as if chewing on rubber and so was the bread. However, I did like the fruit salad I got.

My mango salad was WET with too much dressing and mushy mango. My friend has liked their salads but I think they’re expensive and not that fresh…

Southwest Chicken Salad is very tasty, but way overpriced. Good incentive to remember to bring my own salad to work. They occasionally have deals on Level Up that soften the pain on the wallet.

After reading the reviews I still decided to go here. Glad I did. The service was good. It wasn’t amazing but then again it’s a salad joint not a sit down restaurant. The food was extremely good. I built my own salad. Lots of toppings to choose from and they all tasted very fresh. I really liked that they had egg whites as an option. Will definitely go back when I’m in town.

I had never been to this location — only the one in the Prudential. I was walking by this morning, thinking about where I should grab some breakfast, when I saw a poster that Tossed serves breakfast sandwiches. I stopped in to check out the options, and I couldn’t see a price but I decided to go for it anyway. I ordered an egg white wrap with spinach and feta. It came to over $ 5, which is a little more than I’d like to spend on breakfast. When I got the wrap, it was gigantic. Like, nearly the size of a Chipotle burrito. I definitely did not need six pounds of food for breakfast(not on a weekday, at least). I took a few bites, which were okay, but there was WAY too much cheese. There must have been like 3 cups of feta cheese in this thing. Which made it far too salty and I couldn’t really taste anything else. After a few more bites, I noticed the wrap was leaking out of the bottom, and this thing was DRENCHED in liquid. Which means it was either egg juice, spinach juice, or cheese juice, none of which I wanted covering the bottom half of my wrap. That also meant I couldn’t save the other half of this thing for tomorrow because it would just be a bland, soggy mess. I’ve had some great lunch salads from the Tossed in the Pru, so I may be back to this location for lunch. But I’m definitely NEVER returning for breakfast.

My $ 10 salad was comprised solely of «salad butts»(I suppose that’s not the technical term, but by this, I mean, the ends of the lettuce with the stump). That’s unacceptable. Second time it’s happened. Learned my lesson, won’t be back!

This place definetley cures any salad cravings I might have. Everything is great and fresh made to order. The only thing is, it’s kind of expensive for a salad. A Cobb Salad cost me $ 11. The portions are a good size but I don’t think any salad should be that expensive.

Made the trip over here for the first time. Got an Asian chicken salad. Paid over $ 10 for it. Finally found an open bench in PO Square. Opened salad. No dressing. None on the salad, none on the side. To trek back to Tossed, lose my bench, and waste 15 minutes of my life, or to eat a bone-dry salad? I chose the latter — bad call. Yuck. Thanks for nothing, Tossed.

I went to lunch to Tossed today — the food was good!!! I wish they did the combo just like Panera does.(½ sandwich and a bowl of soup for $ 8 or so). Other than that, no complains — great service and the place was very clean. Good job!

Large salads made with lots of good ingredients. I was not a fan of their chicken that topped my salad, but everything else was exceptional. The Asian Chicken Salad I got was plentiful. It was not cheap though. About $ 10 for a generous salad, but still, it’s only lunch. I won’t be eating here daily due to the cost, but it will be nice sometimes. The salads were definitely fresh and full of good ingredients. I found the first time I went there and got my dressing on the side, I found the cup to be a bit smaller than I would have wanted. When I had the dressing put directly on, I found it a bit heavy handed. I wish their dressing sides were a specky bit bigger. I have had the Asian chicken salad and a Caesar salad. It’s nice to have a good salad option in the Financial District.

Fresh ingredients and custom made salads are the draw here, although soup and sandwich options exist too. My buddy, who I will refer to only by the pseudonym Ivel Austrian, isn’t impressed by the prices for what you get, but if you don’t mind the up charges for most protein options and for subsequent salad fixins this is a fine lunch choice. Stay away from the cookies though, they are bland and disappointing.
