The Typhoon Softball League(T.S.L.) is a Boston based slow-pitch league that strives to bring the local Asian community together through friendly co-ed competition in both full-season and tournament formats. They welcome players of all skill levels, experience and physical ability. I first played in a tournament they held in October 2006. It was competitive and well run. More recently, I participated in the summer 2007 regular season. Games are on Sunday and most teams play two games per-day(double header). If you are interested in finding out more visit their website at: UPDATE8÷24÷07 –Under Typhoon Softball League rules: «Each team can have NOMORETHAN2 non-Asian male players and 1 non-Asian female player on the field and in the batting order during the game.» This rule is fine with me and done, I’m assuming, to preserve the mission of the TSL — which is to bring the local Asian community together in the sprit of friendly competition.
