Iive been coming here for the last 3 years because I work in the area about once a month. The staff is nice and hard working but… The food is a hit or a miss. It’s really cold in here even in the winter. They had a really bad dead mouse smell in the upper dining area but I don’t smell it anymore so that’s good!

This place is a really good place for lunch. You know it is good when the hamburgers have oil dripping through the wrapper. I have been getting stuff from the equivalent of the«dollar menu» and it is pretty satisfying. 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 doubles, large fries and a side salad for under 10 dollars. The salad is crazy cheap, like under 2 dollars. I think I am the only one that orders it…

The two stars is for the Wendys establishment in general, they need to lower their damn prices! I actually paid extra to upgrade my fruit punch to a lemonade which is just ridiculous. The quality of the food is neither here nor there, I just come here because it’s close to my office. The lines here can be too long sometimes because I’ve never seen more than ONE cashier at the registers(there are 3 registers), and I would never eat in here because it has a dreary look to it. I just hope the people making my food are clean, but it’s rare I eat at Wendys regardless.

If you’re looking for a Wendy’s or some typical fast food, this Wendy’s got what you’re looking for. The location is convenient and the restaurant itself is clean and very modern looking. Service is fast. Isn’t super friendly, but you’re also at a fast food place and it definitely hits the minimum. Personally can’t compare price to another Wendy’s but I’d say it is in-line/slighter higher than your Mickey Ds. I got some fries and Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Fries were pretty good actually for fast food. Chicken was decent tasting. Not really worth the price. And felt the taste linger in my body throughout the rest of the day. Overall, if you looking for Wendy’s and give yourself fast-food expectations, this place has it good.

Tell me why my fries are cold & my soda is super flat. Time to think about what the manager is managing?

I learned my lesson. My burger was dry, the shake too thick to drink with my meal, the service fast but disconnected. I hate paying the same price for a plain burger as a cheeseburger. I miss the old Wendy’s, they used to have the best tasting juicy burger! Next time I’ll go across the street to Five Guys.

Worst Wendy’s experience ever, period. First off, compared to other locations in the area, this Wendy’s is way overpriced. There’s almost $ .50 to $ 1.00 difference in prices of meals. Second, there are way too many lurkers(either homeless or junkie). Third, food is unsanitary. When you go down there, always, always check the state of your soda cup. I’ve found some black residue in mine while crunching on ice cubes.

Oh yes, the Wendy’s in Downtown Crossing. I love Wendy’s, even more so than McDonald’s. So I’m here as often as I can. Location: It couldn’t get any better. It’s right on Summer Street in Downtown Crossing, a couple of doors down from CVS. You can’t miss it. It’s VERY T-friendly as there are several bus and subway stops very close by. Store: This store is one of these ‘inner city’s stores, where you order and get your food downstairs, and then eat upstairs in a dining room. The décor is fine, its slightly run down, but that’s more because foot traffic this store gets. The Store is usually clean, but the upstairs dining room may be dirty if its directly after a lunch or dinner rush. Selection: Typical Standard Wendy’s Fare. Square Hamburgers, Chicken Nuggets, Fries, etc. Food is always hot and always freshly made. Never an issue there. Price: Not too bad considering it’s location. On par with nearby Wendy’s pricing(Copley & Berklee locations). Staff: I’ve noticed at this store, the staff are actually VERY nice. And not the typical disgruntled fast food worker attitude. And its appreciated. I’m impressed by the staff at this location. Service: Since this is such a high volume store, this store *has* to be fast with getting orders out. If it’s busy, you won’t wait long for your food. Actually I’ve never waited long at this Wendy’s for my food. I think my biggest complaint about this Wendy’s is the hours. Why does this close at 6 pm?!? Geez at least stay open until 8. And my other complaint is about some of the patrons… it’s downtown so fast food places have a tendency to attract the homeless and weirdos. Unfortunately there’s little Wendy’s can do about it(except enforce it’s loitering policy!) Overall, I’ll be back. The food is hot and good, and that’s what matters. So I’m rating this Wendy’s four stars.

Super ghetto. After I got my food it was cold after 3 minutes. My fries sucked, my moms fries sucked. The whole meal just sucked. I hated it.

I’ve tried the Baconator and their Strawberry Lemonade. At the end of the day it is just an average fast food joint, but the Strawberry Lemonade is amazing. If nothing else go there for that.

Writing an update and giving it a star boost from my previous post. Having revisited Wendy’s today, I must say that they handless stress much more better than they do when there are no customers. Still, there are homeless people loitering outside the doors of Wendy’s. Asked if I could get them a meal. I nicely refuse. Later on when I took the food back to my office, I was approached by the same man for spare change. It was just really uncomfortable. Anyways, food was delivered more quicker than last time. Was much more better than last time, though the cashier messed up my order and apologized.

For a Wendy’s, I like the staff here! I came in on a binge(a vegan binge at Wendy’s only goes so far) and got a large fries with lots of Sweet and Sour Sauce. Friendly service and she didn’t forget to include lots of Sweet and Sour Sauce! Thank you chica!

Wendy’s is known for its better fast foods. Had a great cheeseburger, $ 4.29, that tasted like an old-fashioned cheeseburger(onion, lettuce, and tomato) and it was truly delicious and easy to eat. Fast and courteous service.

Normally I try not to review mainstream fast food places but Wendy’s is becoming a rarity in the Boston area and I just want to say that I like this place and the food they serve. It’s one of the few places I can get a proper meal for under $ 5. Love that 99c menu. Though I wish their chili came at 99c. Inexpensive and tasty Wendy’s chilli is great. On a cold Boston winter afternoon a hearty cup of chili is the cure to whatever ails you. With or without the chili sauce it’s a good value for your buck. This particular Wendy’s has upstairs seating and can get a bit crowded during the lunch rush. They might not be local but Wendy’s is a dying breed of cheap fast food in our fair city, and really. Why would you want to pay $ 10 for a burger?

Fast food as per usual. Food that you can get fast! Anyways, I had their new spicy guac chicken sandwhich and the guac definitely made the sandwich better than your usual spicy chicken sandwich. I haven’t been to a wendy’s in a while, so when I saw they now wrap their sandwiches in plain white wrapping and stuff them into a cardboard container I was surprised. I think it gives the package a bit of class. Heh. Anyways, it’s not very environmentally friendly though. Fries are always good at wendy’s, crisp and hot to perfection. The joint was clean, but very dimly lit.

I think the word has gotten out about the chili here because everyone there except 1 person was eating chili. I kid you not, folks. All but 1. And there’s a reason for that. It’s pretty damn good! And pretty damn cheap. Throw that chili sauce packet in and it’ll blow your mind. You might want to tell those sitting next to you to shield themselves from you mind blow. Yeah, I know it’s fast food. And I don’t eat fast food often. But it’s one of the healthier and more filling choices you’re going to find. Plus those other guys don’t have anything close. Plus two-story fast food places are cool in big cities. You get to watch people almost get hit by cars from above. Pretend you’re in a helicopter or something. In a helicopter eating chili. Badass.

I’ve been going to this location since they opened at least once a week(there was a stretch where it was 3 times a week). I’ve always gotten quick friendly service and in all these years my order may have been wrong 3 times. As with most fast food joints downtown there is a system… and as long as you figure out the system things work fine. It’s when people decide to ignore the staff and do their own thing that things fall apart. It amazes me how many people have a hard time figuring out the menu… It’s Wendy’s people plain and simple.
