If you’re looking for a cheesy delicious burger– this is your place. Quick service. Good food. Would definitely eat here again! Ordered the wheelhouse burger: 7 dollars well spent.

This place is great. Limited seating, it’s mainly a pickup and go type of a place. There is seating that lines the room. The food was really yummy and was made with care. I had the chorizo breakfast sandwich and I would definitely have it again!

We stopped in to Wheelhouse for a late lunch. We were the only customers in the store when we got there, which had me a bit worried, but I think it was just because we were well past lunch time. We ordered the Man Cave burger and smash fries. The burger was really good, very juicy and full of flavor. It was very messy though and hard to eat on the go. The smash fries are kind of like flavorful hashbrowns. They were not quite crisp enough for me, but they had good flavor. Seems like a tasty place for lunch to me.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. A hot delicious handful of calories and fat. The perfect antidote for a late night. The burgers are also very good. I have to shave off one star to keep it real. The iced coffee is weak. The prices are decent(definitely good for the area) but perhaps a dollar too high for my wallet. Recommendations: Traditional breakfast sandwich with sausage and maple cream Breakfast Fried Rice

Stopped in for breakfast during a recent trip to Boston. The food is great, the NOLA is easily a top 5 breakfast sandwich for me. It was so good, I went back to the counter to order a 2nd sandwich to go.

This is one of the best burger places in town! The easy going atmosphere is inviting, in case you want to enjoy your food at the place, but lots of people will take it to go. I got the«Boom Goes the Dynamite» and nhammm if you’re into jalapeños like I am, then you’ve gotta try this! Ohh it’s also a double burger! :9

No refunds for being too spicy was written on the menu but the level of spiciness was not off the chart. I didn’t have to drink any beverage at all so the heat was a bit a weak. The burger was good though; very juicy with tender patties(not just one, but 2 patties). And why did I wear white? Awesome sauces were dripping down my hands. Quick service.

Stopped by for some breakfast sandwiches on our sightseeing day in Boston. It was a great vibe, loved the music and the people(both staff and customers). It seemed like a well-loved place so I’m happy we stopped in. Breakfast sandwiches were fantastic. I had the Breakfast Burger which was the greasiest and messiest thing I’ve ever eaten(I was on vacation so this fit the bill). I think my husband got the Traditional because he’s boring AF(jk) and he enjoyed it as well. Thanks for having a fruit option… fiber is good for you. I’d come back if I lived in Boston!

Went here for a quick breakfast before sightseeing with my hubby and a friend a few weeks ago. I had seen its high marks from other Unilocal users, so thought we’d go ahead and give it a try. When we got there around 9 or so, there wasn’t anyone inside. The place is pretty small with maybe 10 barstools lined up against the wall. Suited us just fine as we hadn’t planned to hang around long anyway. We all enjoyed our food. I chose to have the Southern Belle sandwich, which was peach glazed ham, pimento cheese and an egg. I couldn’t detect a whole lot of peach glaze, but it was still pretty tasty. Hubby got the Traditional with chorizo. He said you could definitely tell the chorizo was house made. That’s probably the one best thing about Wheelhouse — the effort of doing something from scratch. If we were locals, we would definitely come back and try lunch. Their menu boasts some pretty yummy sounding burgers plus a black bean burger, which is my all time fave!

I feel like this is almost a hidden gem? Or at least, it can’t be with 150+ Unilocal reviews. But most of the time I’ve tried to come here on a weekday lunch I haven’t really seen too much of a line like at b. good or some other places nearby, which is insane because Wheelhouse is so good. Burgers are double patty, and come with thick, flavorful ground beef. Filling without being extremely heavy or greasy, but can be quite messy to eat if you’re going to be bringing it back to the workplace. They’re on the smaller side even if they’re thick — it was about the same height as diameter, so overall it’s smaller than your American™ sized burger. I mention this because it was super delicious, but it goes in so fast you’re just left with a vague feeling of sadness because you want another. Docking a star here because service is verrrrrrrrry slow even when there is not a line, especially for a lunch/breakfast joint. It takes quite a while for them to get the food out, which is only worse when there’s more people waiting in front of you. I feel like average wait time for me has been almost 15 minutes. Limited seating inside.

Wheelhouse makes an amazing burger! Each burger is made to order, so it’s incredibly fresh and was cooked perfectly for me(medium). I know other people have complained that the burgers are too small, but for lunchtime they are the perfect size. I had the man cave and would highly recommend.

Came across this burger joint in Boston, and I have got to say my search for a great burger ends here! Especially when it comes to breakfast, I mean, I’ve had breakfast burgers in the past but the Wheelhouse breakfast burger… WOW!!! Coffee crusted patty!!! need I say more?!! Great burger PERIOD!!!

Good breakfast sandwiches. They have some not-so-traditional options that look interesting — I was so tempted to try the breakfast burger with peach-glazed ham and pimiento cheese. Ultimately, I went for the traditional BEC — and it was good but definitely not the best in Boston(That accolade goes to Archie’s). If you’re looking for a FUN breakfast sandwich, this is your spot.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it only makes sense to eat a burger… Came here to experience breakfast the right way. What stands out is the flavor… there’s just so much of it. I believe their secret ingredient is love. Their not-so-secret ingredient is delicious breakfast meat — bacon, ham, sausage, chorizo, steak, and a good old fashioned burger patty(don’t be alarmed: they put an egg on top so it’s definitely breakfast…) I had the privilege of trying two of their menu items: –Breakfast Burger: A classic. If you want to experiment, look elsewhere(on their menu, of course). If you want to know what America tastes like — since it definitely tastes like two beef patties topped with a bacon, cheese, and a runny egg — then have at it. –Chorizo: A delight. Playful, in fact. The chorizo patty is well seasoned. The melted jack cheese adds a hint of spice to the party. The avocado has a cool, calming effect. The verde sauce brightens everything up. The egg makes it breakfast. At ~$ 7ish a burger, I’m left wanting just a little more. Yes, because it’s *that* good… but also because the portions are on the smaller side. 4 stars.

Been looking for a very tasty burger in Boston and was super excited to try this place out. Man-cave burger was delicious with its juicy patties, crunchy and tasteful onions, and well toasted but grease soaked bun. I just wish that the burger was not so… snack size. I had to grab something extra as I knew I’d be starving during my flight.

Most amazing breakfast sandwich of my life. Their eggs are of very high quality and so delicious. Seasoned perfectly in my traditional breakfast sandwich. Love their selections of flavored coffees, my favorite, crème brûlée coffee is made of roasted coffee beans and no syrup or sugar. 10 points for the Christmas and Patriots decorations all over the spot. Extremely friendly and efficient staff who are smart and get your order right every time, just all around perfect experience

I was so excited when Wheelhouse came to the Financial District — a fantastic option for breakfast and lunch sandwiches/burgers! You really can’t go wrong. Note that the portions might look small, but there is a ton of stuff packed in there so you won’t go hungry. Not for dieters by any means… Restaurant space: Not much to speak of, with a counter running along two sides of the wall and some scattered stools. Doesn’t matter though, because all you need is enough space to stand while salivating over the smells coming from the busy kitchen. I would suggest taking the food back to your office, but only do so if you’re close enough to not risk the burger getting cold. Or if you can manage to hold yourself back from devouring the little thing the second you get it, scalding hot cheese and all. Food: Man oh man where do I start. The Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich is such a great way to get over a hangover or get yourself ready for a grueling day — though, I would budget in about 20 minutes to digest and just savor the remnants of the sandwich after you wolf it down. The avocado complements the spicy chorizo wonderfully, and who doesn’t love a nice over medium egg?! Then when you add a warm buttery bun… it doesn’t get better. I’ve also had the classic Wheelhouse and the Creole burger — while the Creole burger has some great fried onions, the Wheelhouse is definitely where it’s at. It’s perfectly juicy and fresh, with a great cheese melt on top and delightful little pickles and onions that make you feel just a little bit better about scarfing down two patties. The buns are not completely up to holding in all that goodness so if you wait too long it could get soggy, but I trust that you’ll follow your instincts and finish your burger long before that happens. If you have $ 6 – 9 and are looking to treat yourself with something unabashedly unhealthy and delicious, Wheelhouse is the place to go.

Holy crap these are good burgers! Juicy. Meaty. Hot. Fresh. Two patties. Crisp thick bacon. Ordered a Man Cave. They were out of the usual onions, so the chef had a suggestion. Ended up with some crunchy grilled onions cooked into the meat. They should add this as a standard option it was so damn good!

After going to Wheelhouse, you’ll never order a Dunkin Donuts’ breakfast sandwich ever again. Well, you might, but you won’t enjoy it. This place has the best breakfast sandwiches in the city. I’ve tried the Nola and Chorizo sandwiches. Both were excellent, but I prefer the Nola because it has sausage links instead of a sausage patty; but that’s just my personal preference. You can’t go wrong with either. You pay for what you get as the price for a breakfast sandwich is about $ 5. But it’s well worth it for the fresh ingredients and friendly staff. There have been many days when I’ve gone here for both breakfast and lunch as their burgers rival their breakfast sandwiches. But I’ll go on about those later… For now, get here and try the deliciously spicy Nola breakfast sandwich. You won’t be disappointed.

Need a wicked awesome breakfast sandwich? WHEELHOUSE! Legitimately the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had(the NOLA to be specific). My dad loved his classic breakfast sandwich as well. Mine was dripping fat from the cheese and chorizo but man was it the perfect amount of spicy and flavor. Would definitely go back!
