1 ASAP Locksmith Bothell WA

Last night I locked myself out of my car at the UW Bothell campus. After AAA estimated a 2 – 3 hr delay, I called 1 ASAP Locksmith as one of the closest locksmiths listed on Unilocal — even though it had a one star rating. The previous reviewer said that they ripped him off for a high price, so I was forewarned. The good news is that the technician showed up reasonably fast in 30 minutes (after several cell phone calls because the dispatcher had not idea where the UW-​Bothell campus was located). He came in an unmarked automobile and had an apprentice with him.
The first words out of his mouth were, this will be $ 169.00 to open your care plus a $ 19.95 trip charge. I said, «Absolutely not, I’ve already checked with AAA and this should not be greater than $ 120…total». (I should have said a lower number but was in a hurry to get to a meeting). He must have wanted the job because he said OK and then proceeded to open the car.
He charged the job to a credit card but had no credit card reader and his invoices were not labelled with the company name. I get the sense that this is junko outfit where free lance technicians (generous terminology) are given assignments by a central dispatcher. It is not a professional acting, or looking, outfit. Beware.

We really needed someone to come out because our office door was mistakenly locked. They said we would have to pay for the service call and then a minimal fee if it was easy to open. It took him less than 30 seconds to open and he insisited it was hard. He jammed a dummy key in the lock. Pounded it 3 times and opened it. Possibly damaging the lock. He was rude and arrogant and charged us $ 130.00 instead of the $ 70.00 for an easy lock. They must think all locks are hard.
Beware!!! They will overcharge!!! We would give negative stars if we could.
