TERRIBLE. AWFUL. STAY AWAY!!! We contacted to let them know we would be moving in three weeks, and clarified we wanted to keep our service active at our current location until we moved. The rep kept bombarding us, trying to up sell products we have no interest in. They turned off our service yesterday, after we clearly stated we still needed service at our current location. Now they won’t be able to turn it on until Tuesday. That’s 5 days without Internet, which we rely on for our phones because we don’t really get reception in our building. Maybe if the rep wasn’t so pursued to sell crap she may have actually met the customer’s needs instead of royally screwing them over. I am livid with this company.

Our digital marketing company signed up with CenturyLInk High Fiber and VoIp on Oct 6. We were told 6 – 8 weeks for installation in our new office. Today is the 12-​week anniversary of that agreement, and we still do not have an installation date for this service. We have cancelled our service agreement; I have submitted complaints to the Better Business Bureau and Washington State Attorney General’s Office. This level of «service» is absolutely unacceptable. Our business requires Fiber to operate our conferencing abilities. They lied to us about their timing, and they have done nothing to date to set us up despite repeated calls and emails. My relationship with CenturyLink is over. (The irony is that our office is 1 mile from CenturyLink Field in Seattle. And they can’t get this right!!!)

Every time I call I get a different answer to the same questions. They are completely consistent in being inconsistent. My 1st bill has been messed up from the beginning and nobody seems to be able to fix it, nor do they want to. The «escalation team» is of absolutely zero assistance. I highly suggest you find another internet service provider if you are looking for new service. DO NOT make this mistake!

They tricked us, fooled us, sold us product we don’t need, and then when we found out that they could just fix it for free, they want to charge us full cancellation fee without a single dollar off.
Spoke to about 10 people for about 5 hours combined. Everyone is trained to be a robot like, angry, team of imbeciles.

Tried their website 3 times to search ‘NEW CUSTOMER’ pricing and availability. Entered my correct and complete address 3 times. Each time it bounced back a pop-​up box requiring my address.
I’ve owned this house for decades and am familiar with my address. I figure it MUST be a fail CenturyLink thing. If they don’t serve this area — they should state that –after people take the time to try and buy their service. OR, fix their website. if that’s the issue.
If they can’t get this simple thing right, they must not provide decent service in other, more complex, areas of service.
Where is the «competition» the Telecommunications Act was supposed to provide? We have only Comcast here? (Frontier Comm has ultra-​bad reviews, not an option).
