My husband just had his hair done here and his hair looks amazing! The shop may not look too impressive from the outside but the quality cut you get here is definitely worth it and the barber was very friendly. Definitely worth trying out!

No-​nonsense, no-​frills barber shop, caters to a mostly male client base. The owner takes an interest in local football and makes an effort to remember people’s names, especially repeat customers. Shop can be busy, but quick, efficient work ensures people walk out happy with their haircuts. This shop does have one frill — an elevated car chair for the kids. An excellent value run by a hard-​working proprietor, it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a good local barber shop close to the I405.

Took both my young sons for haircuts recently, and it was a good experience for them. For the younger one, the car chair was a hit. And they both enjoyed the lollipops afterwards. I was happy with the service and their cuts. They’ve been asking when they can go again! I didn’t realize he doesn’t accept credit cards when I went, but thankfully he also will accept checks — and I know now to carry cash when I take my kids back.

Not a recent review as I went there in the past for a haircut. Nothing fancy, just a typical crew cut. Easy. But the barber did not properly blend it in, leaving a huge lump of hair on one side. I didn’t catch it before leaving, but it was pretty clear to see as soon as I got home. The top was also not cut uniformly and looked messy.
Also, no neck shave? I know the price is cheap, but there are true barbers in the area in the same price range that do a better job and will shave the back of the neck, sideburn, around the ears, etc.
Lastly, he doesn’t accept credit cards. I don’t know if this is to «keep prices down» or for other reasons, but it’s an inconvenience. I personally don’t keep cash on me, so having to make a stop to get some is just the last reason I won’t ever be going back.

Is this a full service «guys experience» with cigars, beer on tap, and flirty stylists? No. Will you get a scalp massage before getting your tips frosted? No.
Inside this hole in the wall building is a super friendly, hard-​working guy who will remember your name, give your kid a lollypop after a turn in the car chair, catch you up on the latest in Bothell football chatter, and give you a solid haircut for a fair price.
I don’t carry cash either, but more than once, he’s spotted me when I realized I had to grab some. Viet is a good dude and this is the kind of place I like to support. Hope you do too (just not on Saturday… I don’t want a line).

This is indeed for MEN. The Barber is very friendly and precise about his haircuts. Old-​fashioned and is on point about cutting hair. Fast, Friendly, and Efficient. I always get a fade, and I am always 100% satisfied. I’ve bounced from barber shop to the next, and am happy to find this barber shop as mine.

This is a Men’s Barbershop, its a simple setup.
The barber has a chair for the Men & a race car chair for the boys.
You sit down & wait for your turn while the Barber talks with you about Life/​Women/​Cars or whatever.
You get called up, tell him how you want it cut & you give him a tip when he remembers your name or your style.
Pay with cash & go back to your day.
Its a no frills, no shampoo, no coloring Barber Freakin Shop.
This guy is very friendly & does a good job.

So my second week of finding a back up barber has failed. This is not a barbershop! Its an cheap asian guy that went to a cheap beauty school and thinks that he can cut hair. Do not go here?

I went to D’s a few times. Yes you can get a haircut for $ 13. But then while waiting while 3 other rather dirty individuals to got haIrcuts I observed that HE DOES NOT SANITIZE HIS CLIPPERS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS as Washington State law requires.

(9) Disinfecting electrical tools and implements. Electrical tools and implements must be disinfected after service on each client in the following order:
(a) Remove hair and/​or foreign matter;
(b) Disinfect with an EPA hospital grade disinfectant specifically made for electrical tools and implements.

$ 13 for a haircut?!? Nice! It was every bit as good as the cuts I get that are twice that much. The décor? meh. The barber? Excellent. I can’t believe it’s taken me 16 years to finally try this little stand alone shack out for a haircut. Should have gone a lot earlier, would have saved a lot of money and had better conversations.

This is a great place for a quality haircut and good conversation. Its a no-​frills barber shop, but I have honestly never received a better cut, with more attention to detail, than I have here. There may be a bit of a wait at certain times of day but i was told that wed afternoons are slow and I’ve been able to get in with virtually no wait time. He also has a few toys and books on hand for kids, and a car chair they can sit in while they get their cut; my boys love it. This guy does good work.
