Luv Macarons

Crumbly, dry & just plain disappointing. Notice that even the filling is peeling off. This is just disappointment compared to Lady Yum. What a waste of money.

This isn’t a store front, apparently it was only a holiday seasonal store & so it no longer exist but one of the stores there called Infuse carries the macarons for the macaron maker. I felt kind of iffy that another store that sells random cookware would sell macarons but I decided to try them anyway. The second red flag was when she said pick your flavors I’ll grab them for you, I keep them in the fridge. You never refrigerate macarons… but I decided to try them any way. I bought all the flavors of the day which was 6 macarons for 10 dollars. I was hopeful about them being decent but unfortunately they were terrible. Hard like rocks on the outside and inside… probably because of keeping them in the fridge. It got me thinking, if they were freshly made that day, why keep them in the fridge?! So they must be old macarons from a couple days before. Pretty disappointed. Doesn’t even come anywhere near my favorite Laduree. If someone says otherwise, they are trippin’ and have never had real macarons before. I would not come back. Words of advice: avoid these macarons.

Oh my goodness! I love Luv Macarons. They are perfectly softly crispy on the outside, the inside melts in your mouth and the inside of the cookie was delicious.

I’m pretty disappointed with Luv Macarons. I was given a monthly subscription as a gift and when I received them in the mail, they were not packaged in any type of cold pack as their website FAQ section stated. It was wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap and that was all. The macarons were crumbly and dry. It is almost the end of March and I still haven’t received this month’s subscription.

Ok really. I loooove macaroons. That’s all I needed to go check this place out. They definitely deliver and in a serious way!!! So delicious inert back twice to get more. I know it’s not the healthiest treat but let me tell you they are healthy for the soul. Head over and grab you some.

These macarons are to die for — better than the Ladurée macarons that I’ve had.
Ami is wonderful and accommodated an order of my favorite flavors (Lavender and Vanilla). I also got 3 free macarons for my Unilocal check in (Pistachio, Coffee and Strawberry which I devoured once I got to my car).

I fell in love with macarons when I was 13 and living overseas, and have spent most of my adult life searching for them in the States.
Luv Macarons are the absolute best I’ve found. They have great, inventive flavors; the cookie part is the perfect combination of chewy and crispy, and the fillings are amazing! You can tell that the ingredients are fresh, and the product is very consistent. The prices are great too.
Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Ami you are wonderful. I work in the village and stopped in with my dad last week. GOSH these are SO SO delicious and fresh-​this girl knows what shes doing and so worth the money-​PLEASE STAY!
