Northshore School District 417- Frank Love Elementary School

Really nice school. My daughter started kindergarten this year and our service area school was at capacity. We had to transfer to this school and were reluctant but had no choice. Actually I’m so glad we did because it has been a very positive experience for my child. The staff & teachers have such a great attitude that my girl really looks forward to going (unlike me who hated school).

This address is the location of Frank Love Elementary, where my children attended school for 3 years before we moved to Kirkland.
This school has probably the most amazing staff I have ever encountered within the Northshore School District, and definitely over other districts I’ve briefly dealt with in my children’s younger years.
Many schools may have good teachers, or a great librarian, or a nice Secretary, but Frank Love has *outstanding* staff at literally every level, in every room, in the entire school.
The years my children spent here were some pretty tumultuous years for us a family. The reasons aren’t really all that important.
What I will say, though, is that the staff here were so unbelievably supportive of my family throughout the entire time and all the changes it wrought through our household.
The principal, Scott Bebe, was a former IT/​computer guy turned administrator and I don’t think I’ve ever met a more amazing, caring and just fantastic principal. He really has a heart for the kids and their success on a practical level. He takes it personally, and puts in the extra mile, to see kids succeed and grow. That spirit reflects through the rest of his staff as well.
When an IEP and other things were needed for my youngest son during this time, Mr. Bebe went to battle, literally, with the District over budget and process time and got Junior what he needed in record time. He moved mountains for my little boy.
We moved away, and it was a good decision for us and I am just as pleased with our new home in the Lake Wa School District, but inside the Northshore School District, Frank Love deserves a special shout out for being such a superb little school.
If you are inside the District, or considering a move, this school is nestled in a well established neighborhood, with easy access to *everything* and *everywhere*, Frank Love is providing a good Northshore School District education with all those extra community feel and caring staff one would want for their kids.
