Northshore Senior Center

We had our annual fall festival Heidelfest here. Danette Klemens was great to work with on the coordination end, as was the staff the day of. Good pricing, great facility, keep it up Northshore.

I had my wedding in in ⁸⁄₂₀₀₈. It gets a ⁵⁄₅ stars for price but a ³⁄₅ stars for helpfulness and smoothness.
The lady who runs the wedding part of the senior center is the oldest lady working there, and it shows. She gets crabby when you ask to many questions. She said she would be there all day, the day of the wedding to help locate things and get the sound system working, but I couldn’t locate her and she couldn’t help with any questions I had the day of. The venue was lovely, although when we booked the date they didn’t tell us there would be a pancake breakfast he morning of my wedding and we couldn’t set up until it was over, the lady told us maybe 11:00 but we had food sitting waiting so we had to know a exact time. During the pictures, there was older people walking around the garden area looking, which didn’t bother me, but might bother others. If I could do it all over again. I would have the wedding start at 4:00 (instead of 2:00) so I had more time to set up. I also heard that they later the wedding goes the crabbier the lady gets at clean up time.
But you can’t beat the price, $ 100 an hour is awesome, plus a little more for the buffet room rental. The garden was so beautiful in August.
