This place is in a bit of a random spot but it’s definitely a hidden gem that I’m glad I found through Unilocal! It’s a family owned shop that’s pretty small on the inside but has cute décor and is very clean. Not a lot of teriyaki spots make you want to dine in but after my boyfriend and I saw how nice the employees were and how clean the inside was, we decided not to get takeout and just eat there. I got the Katsu curry which was such a big portion I now have enough for another meal! Very flavorful and definitely a comfort food. It was under $ 10 — I think this is a really good deal. My boyfriend got beef bibimbap was delicious too. A little odd to me that it had shredded lettuce but it was actually a nice crunch. The sauce is really good, definitely a must with bibimbap! Overall I’m really pleased with the service, speed, cleanliness, variety of food offerings, and the fact that the prices are incredibly reasonable. Will be returning a lot I think!

Thank you Unilocal! This place is a mile from my house. I may never cook again. It isn’t just another run of the mill teriyaki places in a weird pot oriented strip mall… Although there IS that. They have Korean food and Japanese food and some Hawaiian food. Yes please! Kimchi rice. Spicy Katsu. Spicy teriyaki. Yakisoba. BiBimBop. It is ALL good. The place is small, but cute, for dine in. The ladies working the counter are just lovely. The prices are average. This is a good experience. I don’t understand how there could be negative reviews!

I’m sad. I really wanted to like this place because of the good reviews. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and ordered bulgoki, chicken teri, mac salad, and spam musubi to-go. When I picked up the order, they told me the spam musubi would take too long to make so they took it off my order. Weird, but ok, nothing I could do because it seemed like they didn’t want to make it anyway. At the time it didn’t seem like a big deal. Food was ok, bulgoki a little bland but huge portions as others have said. Decided to give it another try. I’m here right now and ordered the chicken/beef combo, medium mac salad, and two orders of miso soup(sharing with my hubs). Now they’re telling me they only have enough for a small mac salad and can only give me one miso soup, not two, because«it will take too long to make two orders.» Like, 30 more minutes to get another order of soup, that’s what they just told me. What the heck? :( I’m no expert, but based on my experiences here, I feel like maybe they should have a better gauge of how much to prepare each day(so as not to run out of mac salad and miso soup when customers like myself really want it *cries*), and to quote a longer to-go pick up time(maybe tell me 20 min instead of 10 min if you think the musubi is going to take longer to make). The ladies behind the counter are very nice, and the food is ok, but I’m just upset about not being able to bring home exactly what I want(first world problem??) sigh.

Sub par food, very expensive for the quality, cluttered dining area, all around mediocre

Spicy chicken was really good but I thought it was a little over cooked. Had to cut the ends off of most of it. The portions were great. No way would you walk away still hungry. I would go back again.

Came across this place on Unilocal because I saw that they had leafy greens as part of the meal. Turns out it was an opening special perk. But, I asked if they had any to buy and they did! So, I got my chicken katsu and sesame oil seasoned rape greens on! And it was delicious. The rice portion size was super generous. To the point that I couldn’t finish it all. It’s not the closest to me, but I will file it away as a viable options for future katsu needs!

Goodness gracious. Quaint setting just a short jaunt off of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Very small, only can seat around 10 – 15 but don’t let that fool you. I got the spicy katsu chicken combo and my girlfriend got the Mongolian chicken. The Spicy Katsu Chicken was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, with an absolutely divine crunch. It was the best Korean food I’ve ever had, bar none. My girlfriend loved the Mongolian chicken, but beware of the still whole chili peppers in it if you don’t enjoy spicy. It almost put her off of the food. The portions are extremely generous at a very low cost. Between the two of us we spent less than 30 $ and had a phenomenal meal and are already talking about going back this week. Do yourself a favor and go ASAP!

We love coming to this place! Consistently really really good food. Always well-flavored and fresh. They even give you a little macaroni salad with some of their dishes, which I thought was unusual at first but it’s just as yummy as everything else!

This place looks like a super cute, mom and pop restaurant randomly in a shopping mall with a lawyer’s office on one side and a pot shop on the other. You go in, order at the counter, help yourself to water or hot tea and watch HGTV while you wait for your food! There’s not a lot of Hawaiian food that we saw on their menu, but I also love Japanese and Korean food so we had the chicken udon and the katsu curry. The katsu was perfectly cooked, with a really crispy outside and tender and juicy inside. Also, the serves were absurdly large! There was on piece of katsu on a bed of rice with the curry next to it, and then under the curry there was even more katsu! The udon was really good as well, although I would have liked a bit more tofu and fish cake in it(I think there were just two slices). The broth also had vegetables in it, which was a bonus. Everything came out piping hot, and had been freshly cooked a few moments before. My only gripe with this was that the food didn’t come out with chopsticks, and I found it kind of awkward to stab at the udon in the soup with a fork. This is a really minor point but it was a bit weird? We also got a little side of kimchi which was really tasty but not murderously spicy, and while we were there the owner also brought out a pickled radish thing for us to try, which I thought was super nice of her, and then it turned out that the radish thing was super tasty as well. I wish I got the name of it. Overall it was a pretty good, low-key experience with friendly staff and tasty food. There’s decent parking out the front(especially if you go around dinnertime) and it’s not too far from the main road. We’ll be back.

Was out looking for a house and stumbled upon this place. I ordered the spicy katsu and my wife got the chicken/steak teriyaki plate. Everything was amazing! Best teriyaki I’ve every had. The spicy katsu was excellent, not overpowering with heat but just right. Ended up getting a house in Mountlake, but will definitely be making trips to Ohana in the near future to try everything else on the menu! The staff was very kind and friendly as well.

This place is great. I tried the chicken katsu and it was some of the best I’ve had. My wife got the Bulgogi and really liked it. The place is super clean and they are so friendly! Great price, too.

My husband and I have been looking for a new amazing teriyaki place after one that we loved changed owners(and wasn’t good anymore). This is it! The chicken had an amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. The gyoza were crispy and delicious. It’s nice that when you eat in, you get your salad, Mac salad, and fish cake sides pretty much right when you sit down. Portions are also great — on the large side for one and great to share for two moderately hungry people. Pretty sure you’re not supposed to bus your own table because the lady said to us(nicely) «I can do it» when we tried. We will definitely be back!

I moved to Lynnwood and was looking for the good restaurant near my house. I got Ohana Teriyaki in Unilocal recently. I went there twice. For the first time, I bought dinner to go for my family. After having the following food, we all love it. Delicious! Kimchee Fried Rice(added 3 eggs) Katsu Curry. For the second time, I bought lunch to go for my family. This time, we felt disappointed a little bit about Bul-Go-Ki and Bi Bim Bap. We have had Bi Bim Bap in many Korean restaurants and we don’t like the way they make. Bul-Go-Ki is just okay. I will definitely go back to try different food next time.

The first thing you should know about Ohana Teriyaki is that it is not just another teri-joint. It is so much more. Because its only six months old, its still relatively undiscovered, but it won’t be for long. There is huge talent in the kitchen. There is big, bold flavors ang big value here, a great blend of Korean, Japanese, and Hawaiian dishes. The biggest, boldest flavor comes in their Bi Bim Bap(BBB) Hot Sauce. Ask for it and put it on everything. Drink it straight. It’s that good. Of couse the Bi Bim Bap is not to be missed, just be sure to use plenty of the sauce. Katsu Curry comes with a generous cut of crisp, flavorful chicken katsu atop a bed of rice with a heaping portion of vegetable curry. This is a wonderfully comforting dish — delicious. The Kim Chee Fried Rice is huge! Although many other places makes it too wet, Ohana cooks it just right. I like a fried egg on it. They regularly have a special of Spicy Chicken and Mushrooms. They should just put it on the menu. It is a winner with their trademark big, bold flavors. They have a wonderfully diverse menu with much more for me to try.

Prices and portions can’t be beat! I worked late tonight and that means I do not cook. I wanted to try Ohana’s out since they opened and tonight was the night! I asked the gal what ban chan was, because you get 2 per order. She happily went over all the options.(Ban Chan is a small Korean side dish.) They have like 5 options; I can’t remember all of them, but I chose the macaroni & spicy cucumbers for my husband’s order. For mine, I asked if I could skip them and just get more rice. With a smile, she said yes! She was so friendly! I was impressed at the get go! The cost for the 2 meals(spicy chicken teriyaki and regular chicken teriyaki.) was $ 16.91. What a steal!!! I remembered I didn’t tell her I didn’t want a salad so I went up to the counter and told her to skip the salad on mine, she said sure do you want more rice? Yes! Nice! Food came out quickly, about 10 minutes. I couldn’t get home quickly enough! The teriyaki smelled so good! And no surprise, it’s GREAT! Good level of spicy, and NO fatty cartilage pieces! That’s a mark of great teriyaki! I am a fan. Another contender in Bothell! Most definitely will be back !!
