Quality Care Physical Therapy

Friendly staff, didn’t feel like they were using our time wisely was my only complaint. The frequency of visits was adding up to be very expensive for what we were doing.

I really hate to write a bad review about them, they were so nice! Just the friendliest people and they really tried their hardest to make me better, but I do want to be helpful to you Unilocalers.
Short Story: 5 sessions — came out hurting worse than before, shoulder only ever so slightly better with regards to range of motion. Lower back — no better.
Long story…
Location/​parking: Nice location in downtown Bothell — street parking and also parking across the street in a church lot.
Ambiance: NICE! Big and bright, new stuff. Lots of more modern equipment. There’s always a lot of people here — feels like a gym. I think this is the big selling point of QC — their facilities and equipment (They earned 1 star here!)
Service: Very nice — front staff knew my name after the first visit — the gal doing the ultrasound was especially nice and pleasantly chatty. The PTs were also very friendly and made me feel comfortable. (They earned their 2^nd star here!)
PTs: I came in first for my shoulder. The PT came highly recommended by my doctor. He did some tests to see what was going on with my shoulder muscles. He came to the conclusion that the humerus ball wasn’t correctly placed in the socket so he gave me lots of exercises to do to strengthen the muscles and re-​position the ball. His explanations sounded good, but I came out of there with some question marks because my doctor, said that there’s inflammation and that the PT would have to work on the muscles and stretch them before I would be doing strengthening exercises. Well, I decided to just trust the PT. After a couple of sessions, my arm hurt more. To be fair, the PT did say that I would need 6 – 8 weeks of therapy and I was only giving him 2 weeks because of insurance issues and that’s why it might be more painful. The PT said that it would be achy since I was working muscles that weren’t used to it. I had a bad feeling about it though — it wasn’t just achy, it was pain — and more than I had had before. The good was that my range of motion was a little bit better. (Half star here and I’ll round up.)
Regular sessions at QC consisted of doing my exercises there, and some extra ones on the equipment they had for about 30 – 40 minutes. This is where they start you on some exercise and run off and see some other patients. Then they did ultrasound and then «stem» — electrical stimulation with icing.
Anyway, I also saw another PT there, for my lower back and shoulder. I don’t feel like he really spent much time diagnosing my lower back issue. He simply said that my core muscles up front were not strong. My doctor identified specific vertebrae that had issues, but that PT hardly looked at that. Instead, he said that my pelvis was misaligned and that my hamstrings were tight so he gave me exercises for those. Well, I found out later from Inglewood therapy (where I go to now) that often pelvises are not completely aligned and it doesn’t mean a thing — I could have just been leaning on one leg for a few minutes before and it would have made my pelvis «misaligned». Anyway, I could go on, but I think you get the picture.
Recommendation: So, I’m sure they have helped many, many people. In fact, there’s a picture of a Thunderbird who had some work done here and they’ve got a signed photo in the lobby. And again, they’re super nice here and the facilities are great, but for me, this place was a no-​go.

I’m pretty sure the foot doctor guy is mistaken. Maybe a bit slow on the uptake perhaps. I’ve been here on three different occasions and nothing but professionalism is what’ve received. Thanks QC team. Signed: Kelly Gaddis

So rude when I called. I called about a good foot doctor to see what they offer. I asked one question and she was like sorry, rude grunt, and hung up. I swear she rolled her eyes at me over the phone. So rude
