Don’t take prescriptions here if you need them quickly. Every time I’ve brought prescriptions here it has been at least an hour wait. There is only one person working, so he has to stop filling prescriptions to help with customer service questions and checking people out. It is ridiculous!

It’s been already 5 years when I moved close to this Safeway and I shop here almost everyday, sometimes more than once a day.
The store is always clean, always well stocked, and clerks are more than pleasant and helpful — yes, all of them! In fact, there was a time in my life I considered working there but alas, I don’t have this sort of patience to deal with cranky customers…
This is the closest I’ve ever been to small town corner grocery… They know me by name, they know what I have in my paper bag (always 2 bagels), and they know what movies I like.
If you need a simple grocery shopping, and you live all the way in Tacoma — get in your car and drive here for it!!!
