The worst business I have ever dealt with. They do not want to be held accountable for anything. They do not return calls. I am certain that they have overlooked my damage throughout the years. After more than a month, still have not provided me with my policy information because they know I have termite damage. Termite manager put all the responsibility on me to fix the issue and cannot get them back out to address damage or live termites. I have called a hundred times and everyone tells me something different. They will completely give you the run around. Do not use this horrible company.

do not use. do not sign anything. do not trust. very unprofessional especially with appointment times and customer service if something does not go right. they came out over an hour early and charge you despite you not being there because you were expecting them 1 hr later. called and complained same day. they never returned phone call they never returned to do job. yet they say you still have to pay me. when i called and further complained saying i am not paying you until you come back and to the job i hired you for, they never return phone call. no apologies, no lets fix this. just a «no reply email» saying you owe me over $ 150 for just showing up (again over an hour early)

Again! Posting this is to warn U, EVERYBODY, DO NOT CHOOSE TERMINIX! never never never show up! I called abt 20 times, always have their own excuses! Billing me monthly! Scheduled me thousand times! But the truth is «bull shit»!!! Have been very very frustrated dealing with this company! Never happy! Trust me, trust all those posts, DO NOT CHOOSE TERMINIX!

Used these guys for several years, but we still had mice. They would come back and the technician would be so nice as he gave me all kinds of excuses. One guy wouldn’t go down in the crawl space.
Then we had a bee problem this summer. They were harassing my painters. The guy climbed up the ladder in one location and sprayed, then said this could take 5 days. Well 5 days later we still had bees. Same guy comes out and spends 2 minutes on property «treating the bees».
After one of the painters was stung, we bought some bee spray and eliminated the bees immediately.
That was the end of that. I felt like a fool for spending money on their service.
I called to cancel the service the day the technician reappeared to do the scheduled service, because he just walked around the house without really doing anything. Of course I got a bill for the that day’s «service».
I could have put our bait boxes myself, and will from now on.

We had an appointment this week on Tuesday and came home from work for the appointment to come to a hand written note on my door saying there was scheduling conflicts with Terminex. We didn’t even get a call? So we call and reschedule the appointment for Friday at 5pm again… leave work, fight through traffic and no one shows up. Sorry Terminex this is a joke.

Please if you actually want service to arrive, do NOT count on terminix… Absolutely horrible with making you wait and when you call, never having the appt day or time that you arranged on file. Hmmmm and when calling never an apology, all excuses. I’ve had them for 4 years and have dealt with this too much. Please please PLEASE don’t waste your time, my complete frustration is your warning…
I don’t care if another company is now double the cost, it’ll be worth the hassle free situation.

Their service is OK, but customer service is horrible. They use a national call center and there’s no way to contact anyone locally. Had them for about a year and every appointment had scheduling issues or the proper directions weren’t relayed to the technician. They even serviced a completely different house once! Save yourself some trouble, spend a bit more, and go with someone local.

I never answered the door to the Terminix technician because he was just too creepy. He never thought I was home. Last December I observed the technician break my gate and latch by pounding on it backwards (it has a pull handle). should I mention he cussed loudly while doing so? OR that he could have walked back the same way he entered the yard? The Bothell Terminix office promised to send someone else to service my home but did not. When discontinuing service, the technician called my cell phone, threatened me, and darkly remarking «I do know your dog”(wtf! she is never outside of the house). The then came by took all the bait boxes two days after service, broke my «beware of dog» sign (I was there when he did it) … what a creep. Nine months later, the Bothell office has still failed to fix the gate or pay for repairs (even after visiting the site and reviewing the damage) or be accountable for their employee’s behavior saying that «he is our best technician». Without having it all on camera, the Bellevue police can not do anything useful. Now we have to spend even more for a perimeter security system. Be secure, save yourself the aggrevation and keep your pets safe… DO NOT USE TERMINIX.

We have had several appointments where they haven’t shown up and in once case the tech was 4 hours late. We had such a bad start with them that one of the managers of this location came out with the tech, who by the way, had shown up not knowing what he was there for and had to call his boss to find out what he was supposed to do. The manager had told us that they would be back in a couple of days to check our traps and we never heard from them. He had specifically given us his email address to contact him directly if there were any problems. So I emailed him and 4 days have gone by and I still haven’t heard from them. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my research before signing the contract to see that there are many others who have experienced what we have with them not showing up. This company obviously doesn’t care about customer service if so many people have said that they don’t show up.

I’ve been using these guys for almost 10 years now. When I bought my house, the previous owners had almost a year left on their contract, which they had pre-​paid, so I stuck with it as essentially a free (to me) service for that first year.
The techs have always shown up on time, and are always very thorough and very courteous. They’re very well-​informed on the chemical compounds and other methods they use. They’re actually better resources for Q&A than the folks on the phone – they have the training and the practical experience.
I have a ton of respect for the companies that do this kind of work all organically, but my neighborhood is very hilly and heavily wooded, and there are tons of places where bugs and rodents can multiply. Many of my neighbors grumble about ongoing issues, but these guys have done a pretty good job of keeping my place fully clean. Ants have been a bad problem the last couple summers, and my half-​baked attempts to control them have made the problem worse; their techs come out for unlimited free visits (since I have an annual contract) and make sure to take care of it. I’ve always felt comfortable having them inside my home when I’m there, or on the property when the house is empty.
They’ve gladly worked in the crawl space when asked, and have always been thorough in tending to the yard and the exterior of the house. They’re not cheap – about $ 35/​month for an annual contract. But the work they do is work I have very little desire to do myself, and I’m glad they take care of it.

If you are reading this deciding whether or not you should use Terminix buyer beware. We have a spider problem. Terminix was very friendly at first to get my business, assuring me that they would get rid of them. I was told they would do an inspection of the house to determine why we have spiders. Because they said, «Spiders are a secondary problem,» and «don’t worry we will get rid of them.»
So my appointment date arrived 7÷25÷2015. The technician David did come out on time. However there was no inspection done like I was told. Such as looking at the attic space, crawl space under the house. Pretty much he came in the house knocked down a couple webs (which I still saw webs he missed after) and sprayed a couple of places and continued to do the same outside. I asked if he could spray this storage area that you can access the attack through… which we believe to be the reason we have so many large ones inside. He said no, that he sprayed around the door that should keep them out. He told me that I could expect to see a 90% decrease in spiders and that if I saw some they most likely would be dead or mostly dead. WRONG… a week later I began to see spiders forming webs outside where he had sprayed. I knew it would be soon that I would see the large giant spiders returning and what do you know I saw the large giant spiders return. No they weren’t dead… No they weren’t almost dead. They were very much alive and running fast through our house. I know this area has spiders. But never have I lived in a house where I see this many. I guess this house has had a spider problem for awhile now.
So like they guarantee «We’re committed to defending your home or business against pests and termites. We’ll do whatever it takes to keep them out, so you can rest easy knowing we’ve got you covered.» I called asking them to come back because we noticed more spiders. They scheduled an appointment for Friday 8÷7÷15 between 3pm-​5pm. That is my husband and I’s only day off together. We waited for someone to show. No call, no show. We called customer service and waited to speak with someone for 45 minutes. Of course they never tell the person they are transferring us to our story so we have to explain it again. Then I was told for sure Saturday between 9am-​11am someone would show. Again no show, no call. I called up Terminix again pretty frustrated now because they have wasted almost 5 hours of my time. My time is valuable, especially my days off and I was extremely disappointed in their service, customer service and lack of communication.
I guess they don’t live by their guarantee. I would not recommend Terminix unless you enjoy waiting around for no one to show. Or you like paying $ 180 for no results. I will now use my time to warn others. They say the best advertising is word of mouth. The only advertising they will be getting from me, is warning others about them. Buyers Beware!

I found a bed bug on Sunday night, called Terminix Monday morning. They scheduled me for a free inspection on Tuesday morning. That inspector never arrived. When I called Terminix, they said they didn’t have it in the system and rescheduled me for that evening and said the inspector would give me a call 30-​min before arrival.
Halfway into the Tuesday evening appt. window I called to verify they really did have me in the system. At first they did not, but after putting me on hold they found the appointment and said the technician should be there within an hour. I called again after an hour had gone by and I had still not heard anything. They tried calling the technician but got no response. When I called 45 minutes later, they also tried calling the technician and got no response. I rescheduled for Wednesday morning between 10 – 12 (today).
This morning I woke up and called a different local pest company — Eden Pest — who had a technician call me within 45 minutes of my call to them. I texted that technician a picture of the bug I found, he confirmed it did look like a bed bug nymph, and was here an hour later (this is now 9:45 AM). He did a thorough inspection and was gone within an hour. It’s now noon and I still haven’t heard from Terminix.
I wanted to go with Terminix because of the free inspection, knowing if I required treatment it would be costly. Luckily Eden also provides a free inspection and much more communication and timeliness.
Each of the national operators I spoke with at Terminix were friendly, but being a national call center could not provide me with any direct information to who was supposed to be at my house, could not provide a confirmation number for the appointments, or really any additional information at all. Save your time and worry and schedule with someone else!

Had an appointment today and inspector called & rescheduled for later in the day, which was not a convenient time for me. Then, he NO-​SHOWED at his re-​scheduled time! Complete screwed up day and complete waste of time on my part. Would definitely NOT recommend.

I’ve used Terminix for many years, at 3 different houses. Based on a recent experience, I decided to cancel. The call center had ZERO interest in learning why I was cancelling. This tells me the corporate office has ZERO interest in customer service or improving their product offerings. It just confirmed that I’ll find better service elsewhere.

We paid 200 bucks for Terminix to spray for ants and all the guy did was lay down ant traps. Apparently his spray equipment had frozen during a cold snap. I called two weeks later and it was not replaced/​fixed but he offered to come over and spray with a can of repellant. I could have bought the same for $ 20! I figured I might as well get my money’s worth and made a follow up appointment. The guy never showed up. I called the company 3 times to confirm and they said he would be there. Found out later that he was on vacation but they didn’t know. What terrible communication, and a waste of time and money. Don’t bother with these people.

Have been using Terminix for awhile now and service seems to be going downhill. Twice now, our regular service guy has no-​showed. The first time I contacted him to follow up, his excuse was that he’d forgotten the appointment and would come by that day I had contacted him, yet he forgets again! This is unacceptable. And whatever chemicals they’re using to treat ants is not working. It’s been 2 weeks since the treatment and ants are still around. Very unhappy customer. Will be canceling service with them. Waste of money, stay away from this company.

Terrible company. They no showed on me twice. Didn’t provide complete service. Customer support was of no helpful. Disputed charge on my credit card, which was refunded to me by the card company. Stay away from this company!

The commercials are full of shit. I called to schedule an appointment and was greeted by a 20 minute hold and then was guaranteed that i would be seen the next day for my inspection. 3 appointments and 8 calls later no one has still come by and I didn’t even get the courtesy of a call back. I tell all my friends and family to steer clear of this company.

I use Terminix as our pest control provider on a large apartment complex where I work.
We’ve used other providers and were disappointed. Mike is our service provider and he is absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgable of the products and never misses our scheduled visits. He’s also made himself available for us if we have questions about treatments or pests and will go out of his way to take care of us if we need service done between our weekly scheduled days (even if his schedule is booked up).
I highly recommend Terminix and Mike for your any of your pest control needs. I’ve used them for over 2 years and have no complaints.

We moved into our lovely new home last June. We have NO pets, but were sad to find that our house and yard were infested with fleas.
We called Terminix, and they were to the rescue! The nicest man came to our house right away, and took care of the problem. (We’d discussed the contract before hand, as well as our «issues».)
I informed them that I have NO problem with bees or spiders, just the fleas. Unfortunately, I think their spray kills ALL bugs, but I was so desperate to get rid of the damn fleas, that I said OK.
The fleas were gone after the first treatment. About a week later, we noticed some fleas jumping on our legs outside near the neighbor’s yard. We called Terminix, and they came out and treated our WHOLE yard again, at no cost. (the contract we’d already paid for covers a whole year.)
The guy was VERY nice and conversational, and he was on time.
I’d highly recommend Terminix to anyone with a pest problem. You’ll have peace of mind, like we do.
