I went here for a facial several years ago and would never go back. The esthetician just gave off a vibe of impatience and meanness — she was very crabby and short with me. While I was on the table, she asked me a list of very personal questions(«how many bowel movements do you have every day?») and gasped at each of my(normal!) answers. She then urged me to see her naturopath. There was nothing wrong with me! I went in feeling relaxed and ready for a happy facial, and walked out feeling like a vat of disease. I cried all the way home. The facial itself was fine.

The owner is insensitive to her clients and cares little for her customers! After scheduling(& pre-paying) an appointment, the owner e-mailed me a new, or changed, time(with out my consent) during my work day. I e-mailed to cancel and the owner rescheduled me, again without my consent, again at another time that I could NOT possibly make. At that point, I asked for a refund several times, and not only does the owner vacillate on this, but claims I may not be at the spa to accept the refund because I do not have an appointment! She lacks business etiquette, common sense, and humility for her own errors. I WOULDNEVEREVERLET anyone working at the spa touch my body, let alone my wallet!

I got a voucher here from and because it was originally valued at $ 105 and I got it for $ 35, I thought that the experience would be worth it. But unfortunately, during the whole experience, I thought that I was able to get the service that I paid for at home. When I first got there for my appointment, the door was locked and I stood outside knocking on the door and calling the spa multiple times only to be welcomed by the owner after she was talking with someone else in the back. I thought this was unprofessional. She then gave me slippers and had me sit on a chair. After a while of waiting, she soaked my feet in hot water next to the sink area. As my feet were soaking, she said that my voucher included a health consultation so we discussed health diets and exercise– something that I could have found online. After that, she led me to another room and had me lie on a bed for a facial. She rubbed some nice smelling salts and moisturizers on my face. Then she had me lie down and take deep breaths while she had a steam machine placed next to me. Overall, the facial lasted around 5 minutes and I did not think that it was worth my money. I could have done it myself at home.

This spa is very private and has a soothing atmosphere. I felt instantly relaxed and welcome. I explained my skin problems to Joyce and she gave me some great personalized advice during my foot soak. She has a lot of qualifications and experience as an esthetician, so her words are words of wisdom! She is a genuine woman with a sincere passion for health and wellness. Take the plunge, Joyce will spoil you.

Worst facial I’ve ever had for a $ 69 Travelzoo deal. The owner spent 20 mins talking to someone else while I was left to fill in a form and left me for another 15 min soaking my feet. Total facial time was probably 20 min at the most for a 60 min deal. Honestly, if you are trying to ramp up business, this is not the way to go. Definitely won’t be back.

Had the most relaxing day ever! Received a gift certificate for my birthday and decided to redeem it after one particularly looooong work week. My dogs were barking and there was not an inch of my shoulders free of knots. When I left I felt like a new woman! I whole heartedly recommend this place :)

I purchased a certificate online for a massage and made an appt. on Mother’s Day. I got there and was immediately seated and offered coffee, tea or water. The owner talked about the foot soak which used Himalayan sea salt(great) but it was mixed with tap water from the sink(not so great); not relaxing to be in the same room as the sink area. Curtains separated the two spaces with a set up for two in each. Nice set up for a group not so much if you want to relax and have privacy. The separate rooms are nice, bathrooms clean and the bedding/table warm. When I was laying there, the owner started to take off my makeup and started scrubbing my face. I had to interrupt her and let her know I signed up for the ‘Perk-Me Up’ massage. Oops! So she rubbed my shoulders for 5 minutes, put a pad on my neck and eyes and rushed out. The key to this place is double booking so you can do something quick and then leave one to ‘relax’. I think for the hour session, I had 15 – 20 minutes face time, including the foot soak. Overall disappointing. Obviously I got a deal with the special and a mini facial I hadn’t counted on but… I would’ve preferred getting a discount for a return visit to a massage therapist. Oh well.

Every time I leave here, I feel like every single bit of worry/stress that was bothering me has melted AWAY. I always feel amazing after a visit to The Spa For the Woman Who Cares. I’ve been here 3 times, each for a relaxing massage. Every time it’s been very relaxing and effective. They also give you a complimentary foot soak, complete with french bath salts, as well as tea or water, after arrival. For my 30th birthday, we brought in cake, champagne, and snacks, and they let us enjoy those treats while we chatted and waited with our feet soaking. VERY relaxing! The massages I’ve had have been wonderful– they use oils that smell heavenly(you get to pick), and the music is SO relaxing, you just feel like you are melting away.(In a good way!) There are many other perks to visiting, but I would just tell you to go and check them out for yourself.

I have been here on several occasions. I discovered this hidden getaway by typing in a Google search for«best spa in Seattle.» It popped up on a top 10 list, so I figured why not. The spa is nestled in with the shops of downtown Bothell and I would have never noticed it without having the address and knowing it was there. When we walked in, it was warm and relaxing. The spa owner makes all the appointments herself and greets you at the door to give you your spa slippers for the day. There is a gas fireplace and comfy couches in the waiting room. I have had massages and pedicures there. Each masseuse I had was very good and left me feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. The pedicures are done using individual bowls of hot water, which I love because of the lowered risk of bacteria. The pedicure chairs are big, cozy recliners. The atmosphere that this spa produces is so tranquil and every time I leave the spa, back out into the«real» world, I wish I could go back into the warm, cozy spa. It’s a great place for a girl’s day out.
