Tina is wonderful. She remembers your face and is so personal and hilarious. As soon as you walk in — you will feel welcome and taken care of. This is my favorite place.

Rude staff, limited polish choices and they don’t take cards. I will definitely not be back.

I went here for over five years. The salon is clean and the owner, Tina is queen bee. She owns other Tina’s nails, but is usually at this one. They are cash only, which is a pain. I have personally seen the owner get in yelling matches several times with clients. I feel like I am trapped in a Seinfield episode«the soup natzi». She changed her prices and didn’t post them, then yelled at the lady who got a service for questioning her, for example. I kept coming back because she did a great job and so did her girls. However, once in a waxing she ripped the skin off my top lip. Then she told me it was my fault. I have been getting waxing for 20 plus years and that never happened before. That was the last straw. It really hurt and looked horrible, but instead of saying sorry she blamed me. I will also say that they do a really good job quality wise on nail stuff, but the prices are double for gel nails, and higher for other services too. I recommended Lavish Nail down the street. They do a really good job, but cost less and have better service.

Honestly, this place is always a hit and miss. They overcharge and its cash only. There work is mediocre and service is pretty bad. You can walk in and they will turn you away for being too busy. If it says walk ins welcome then they shouldn’t turn any one away. One time I went in there and all of the girls and the owner were on their iPads and told me to hold on while they were on their iPads not good service at all! Plenty of other nails places to go to were you feel more valued as a customer.

My mom makes appointments and asks for a specific lady. She goes there because they are clean and the smell is not strong. They charge more when you ask for a specific person and the owner does not like it. When she went this last time the chair was broken, but others were available:/ not sure why they would put her in that one. As stated before its a awkward atmosphere. And the staff is not kind. Quality of paint job is dependent on who you get, there are very few good ones. Time to start looking for a new place!

Didn’t know when I walked in but this place is CASHONLY. They are clean and they do a an average job, but the atmosphere is a little uncomfortable. The staff was chatting and laughing with each other the whole time very loudly in a foreign language and I felt ignored. I know this is pretty normal for most nail salons, but this was pretty extreme. Usually they try to be friendly or at least pretend to notice you. No music or anything in the background either. Prices are fair. $ 25 for a spa pedicure, $ 13 for a manicure, $ 25 for a full set. Not too impressed. I would not come back.

I absolutely loved Tina’s nails. I used to get my nails done there but then they started rushing everytime I went in and just wasn’t doing a good job anymore so I stopped going there for my nails but kept going back for my waxes. Have been several times for my waxes since I stopped going for my nails. This last time I went and got a bikini wax(which I’ve gotten several there before) I left with two good sized burns or something. Few days later and they still hurt. Will no longer be going back. Sadly:(

I have been completely loyal to this place since before my review in 2012. This last visit was an utter disappointment though. I took my niece so that we could have a girls day. When we first got there– the owner was showing a couple that was there some pictures from her iPad. We had been standing there for about 10 minutes and the couple turned around apologized to us and asked the owner if we should be helped. The owner said, ‘Dont worry, someone else will help them’. Another 10 minutes later, one of the girls came over to help. Both of our pedis– the polish looked terrible when we were done. I asked for a shellac manicure, and what I got… peeled off by the next morning. I’ve had a shellac before. it has not peeled off within a day. After $ 120 for my niece and myself — I was extremely disappointed in the quality and the service. Not sure what has changed, but … after this last experience… not sure if I have the money or patience to waste to go back there again.

Rude, silent, unprofessional, staff talk about customers. The owner actually blamed me for not liking the way the color looked, that’s all I said and in front of everyone she says, «your fault», excuse me? I am the customer, I simply made a comment. It was very, very weird.

I keep coming back! I’ve lived in the Bothell area for 25yrs and this has been my favorite place since it opened. Tina is so friendly and bubbly which is nice to see since most of the nail salons I’ve been too have been slim to none in the conversation department. I also have psoriasis which is hereditary auto immune condition that makes me self conscious about what people may say while getting a pedi. The only acknowledgement anyone here has ever given to it, was to make sure they weren’t hurting me since it can sometimes look red under the few dry patches I have on my legs. Every time I have brought my daughter with me, they always make her feel so special! I will continue to go back

I don’t get it. I’ve seen many recommendations for this place on Facebook and I had a bad experience. The girls were not friendly at all, my nail tech barely talked to me and she totally butchered one of my fingers while drilling(to the point of bleeding) and she didn’t even ask if I was ok. Not to mention the shape of my nails is ugly. Also, they only take cash which I knew before going in, but I can get a much cleaner, friendlier, less abrasive experience at Bella Dolche and I can use my card(and it’s cheaper). I won’t be going back.

I purchased mani-pedi gift certificates for our friend’s two daughters. My daughter and the girls went to get mani-pedi’s last week. I was embarrassed to find out the girls were treated very rudely. My daughter was not given her change when she paid for her mani-pedi.One of the girls was trying to get«tip» money out of her wallet and the gal took her wallet and helped herself to a $ 15 «tip».The girls were shocked and unfortunately didn’t say anything at the time. We definitely will not return. I am sorry I have recommended this place to my friends.

It’s Christmas Eve and I was in dire need of a brow wax which usually I get it threaded but I haven’t had the chance lately to do so. It was my first time visiting this place and it was about 5 minutes from work so I went ahead and gave it shot. As soon as I walked in they just looked at me… waited and I didn’t say a thing… I wanted to see what they would do… but they kept doing what they were doing like I wasn’t there… eventually someone asked me what I needed done…(is it me or don’t you just hate it when they start talking in their language… and you know darn well they are talking about you…) In fairness when it came to the quality of how the lady did my eyebrow. it was great and all and I’ve seen my coworkers mani and pedi after they visited this place… and I can say that… that was excellent as well… but they do need a lot of work in the meet and greet part of their service.

Ok, I’ve tried out a few places in Seattle and in the Bothell area and this is definitely the best. First of all, it’s the cleanest — I love how they use the disposable foot basin liners. Second of all, they’ve lowered their Shellac manicure prices to $ 35 which is comparable to others. There are places that offer gel manicures for $ 22 but I like the CND Shellac brand the best. Third, this place takes their time with you — even if it’s busy, the manicurist will take their time and do each step slowly and meticulously. Cash only. Come prepared.

OVERPRICED! Shellac manicure is about $ 10.00 more than other places. And Cash only. Not worth the price. Go elsewhere.
