This write up is not really a review but more for informational purposes. I do work in the Visitor’s Center at Hoover Dam so I am going to answer some common questions about the photo operations. *First and foremost, after purchasing tickets, you will be in two lines. One for the theater and one for the tour. There is not a separate line for photos. They are located within the theater queue. This means that line jumping is not permitted. *They do use a green screen which means, surprise surprise, you will be super imposed on several images of the Dam. If the end result appears fake, that’s because it is. *If you do not like having your photo taken, politely decline. However, I would recommend at least taking a chance and see how it turns out. After all, why skip out on part of the experience? *There is no fee to take a photo. You view the photo at the end of the Power Plant tour next to the exhibits. If you do not like the way it turned out, you are not required to purchase it. Again, you can politely decline. *Once you exit the tour, there is sometimes a long line to view the photos. If you don’t want to wait, continue to the exhibits and return in just a couple of minutes. The line doesn’t stay long forever. *They offer several different background options and several different packages. They are reasonably priced compared to similar operations on the Vegas strip. *During my research for this review I found out that the photos are also available to view and purchase from their website however, they only offer limited products online. If you like options, talk to the associates on site for the best deals. I’m not sure how many will read this review but just remember, as with all VC employees, they strive for excellent customer service. If you are not satisfied at anytime, ask to speak to a manager. Also remember that you are there to enjoy your vacation or holiday and they are trying to maximize your experience. Many people have purchased the photos and have been completely satisfied. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy your photos!
