This is our new favorite little place to get ice cream. The service was extremely good… the lady was very friendly and joked around with us as we debated on what kind of milkshake we all wanted. My husband and I both got chocolate shakes, my son a cookies and crème shake. All tasted great. Will be back!

Cheap but there were ice chips in the single I had. Not very creamy and a little too sweet.

Reminds me of when I was growing up and would get a scoop of ice cream from Thrifty’s after school with my grandfather. Ice cream still tastes great! The girl who was working all by herself did amazing even with the large amount of people in the store.

Quick service, great flavors. I had the strawberry cheesecake and a scoop of the mocha almond fudge. Both were super good. The mocha really has a coffee taste which is great. The strawberry cheesecake is sweet. Will be back

It’s Thrifty ice cream, how can you not get some? It’s super clean and the staff is always nice. You can sample everything. Prices are a bit high but whatever. Lotsa flavors to choose from too. My favorite has always been coconut pineapple, still is!

So, we’re out-of-towners stopping by at the Vons next door to pick up a few things. We look over & look what awaits us – my husband does a double take! Scoops is Thrifty ice cream! What!!! That’s total nostalgia for my generation. Sure, they still have them at the local Rite-Aid, but its very own ice cream shop?! Yeah… we’re not going to just pass by. We are SO going to partake. My husband grew up having these yummy & affordable(well, at least they were when we were growing up) creamy desserts(yes, that’s how I describe ice cream) so it was a fun walk down memory lane for him. If you’re on your way to Vegas from the Hoover Dam area or on your way to Hoover Dam from Las Vegas, stop by here to quench a dessert craving.

Open on Easter, made my day! All the flavors of thrifty I’ve cream I can remember and more. Was excited to get a scoop of my old favorite, chocolate malt crunch, until the guy behind the counter said«the one that looks like it has spider eggs in it?» That really grossed me out. Other than that, perfect trip.

I will definitely be going back to this place! They had your usual flavors as well as some unique ones. For example I had circus animal cookie ice cream and I loved it! The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and let us sample a lot of the flavors. Scoops is the perfect place to go when it’s hot outside!

Not what you think of when you think of the traditional«scoop» of ice cream… by the shape anyway. Even though the ice cream is scooped into cylinders, the taste is just as creamy and incredible as you could imagine. The staff was on top of everything and extremely attentive to us. If you’re in or around Boulder, stop by and get a scoop

Stopped in with the GF, the boy and his gf after a day of bowling and exploring the HD on a very humid day. Immediately upon entry the friendly ladies behind the counter engaged us with happy smiles and witty banter. Mmmmmmm Thirfty ice-cream, I remember it well with all of it’s creamy goodness and tasty flavors. I loved the fact there scooper looks like something out of Blade Runner and not some cooking show. There were lot’s of tasty flavors to sample and in the end I went for something from my youth… Cherry Armaretto. The other favorite which the nice ladies vividly described as «Crack» was a frosted animal cookie flavor w/said pieces. The GF and boy grabbed that one. The one scoop is a perfect size but for what I paid today for four people… back in the 80’s would have cost me a dollar. F&%#, I feel old.

Soooo good! a little on the pricey side it’s worth it that’s the reason for only 4 stars is the price. The chocolate is amazing

Yum! Had to stop in when we saw they offer Thrifty ice cream, and we weren’t disappointed. I had my doubts that it would still be as good as I remember from oh-so-long-ago, and it really was! We will be back!

Yummy! They have these cool cylindrical scoopers, it’s like eating ice cream core samples. Many flavors to choose from, will have to come back to try more. I had the classic — chocolate. It’s kinda my barometer of ice cream goodness. If you can’t get chocolate right, you’re in trouble! What I really appreciate is their attention to handwashing, and not touching your cones with their bare hands. Keep up the good work!
