John Bergren, MD

We had our first visit with Dr. Bergren and we were very pleased to meet him. He was very friendly. All the staff was very friendly. Dr. Bergren listened to all our concerns with care and asked good questions and had answers to my question. He took time for my family and I look forward to call him our family doctor.

Dr. Bergren was very informative and respectful. I had several issues I wanted to talk about and he answered each thoughtfully and completely. I had no problems receiving a chiropractor/​physical therapist referral from him as well. He said I could call him if the referral to the chiropractor didn’t work and he would recommend a physical therapist if needed.

Avoid this doctor at all costs! He offers bad advice, has a major God complex, and communicates with the grace of a mute. I was smart enough to demand my record after they dropped the ball couple of times. Dr. Bergren openly admitted that «doctors make the calls here» and his notes that I continue to claim «i know whats best because its my body» are totally wrong. Did i mention i am thirty year tactical medic with years of classes under my belt. He advised me against coq10, although Johns Hopkins Cardiologist disagrees. He said” there are no marijuana studies in place to show cbd helps with seizures”… Wrong again.
Theres a reason why these docs practice in Boulder Tweek. Im pretty sure its because they cant anywhere else. My new docs are busy tweaking the meds i need to avoid seizures, understand vets, brain injury and most of all anxiety caused by incompetent doctors who see you for fifteen minutes, then claim your «angry» because you wont kneel before them. This doctor will kill you. He has a massive god complex, tells you he wants to help, then slaughters you in your notes. Among the 500 or so docs I have worked with in 30 years, he is definitely in the lower ten percent in all fields and aspects of medicine. He is a dangerous doctor who is incompetent, two faced, and should get his ticket yanked. He is perfect for boulder tweek. Right where he belongs. Go to PAMF in Scotts Valley see a real doctor. On a positive note, renee and the office staff are great! Too bad they gotta work for those monkeys!
