Boulder Holistic Medical Center

My husband and I absolutely love Dr. Paul Berger and his staff! He’s done procedures in office for us and we were impressed by the level of care he provided. I’d recommend him to anyone! It’s incredible to meet a Doctor who understands the holistic side of medicine! Another thing that was awesome about Dr. Berger is that he listens, and spends time hearing every concern or thought you may have… we feel valued and cared for. Like I said, very impressed. :)

Meh. I was not thrilled.
When i moved to boulder i was looking for a doctor who i could talk to about diet, lifestyle, family health, etc… essentially the whole picture. So when a co-​worker recommended a doctor at this center, it sounded great! I called and made an appointment with Dr. Berger (not the same doctor that was recommended but i figured it would be fine). Before going in for my initial visit, i spent a good amount of time filling out a patient history packet. When i went in, i expected to talk about my answers from the paperwork, but Dr. Berger never even looked at my packet before seeing me. He rushed in and out of the exam room like a whirlwind! I felt like he was barely in the room for 10 minutes, and definitely not long enough to discuss my whole picture or answer any of my questions. Fine. maybe he was busy and running late, i passed it off as not a big deal. but this same thing happened several other times. During one of these instances i had come in because i was sick and he prescribed me antibiotics… which i thought was weird for a holistic doctor. the last straw was last spring i needed to get in for an annual exam and he couldn’t get me in for over a month. shocking since he only seems to spend 15 minutes or so with patients… the receptionist recommended me to another doctor in broomfield, and i gladly took my business there.
Thanks anyway Boulder Holistic, I’m happy to go to another doctor where they spend more than 15 minutes with each patient, somewhere where they take the time to listen to your story, somewhere where i can get an appointment within a month of calling in.

I was thrilled to see that someone reviewed this Medical Center this evening… because my health practitioner is in this office too!
He used to be at a different location much closer to my home and within my comfortable little bubble. So I’m still getting used to this new location for him.
There are some marvelous Practitioners and Physicians sharing office space here… I’m not sure how one interconnects with all of their various services & how payment for multiple services would be arranged, but I can see that this Clinic has marvelous potential.
