Had an appointment at 10am. Got there to find the store locked and empty. Waited 30 minutes and left. An hour later, still no word from them. Don’t waste your time like they wasted mine.

Absolutely loved my first float. Incredible experience, I will be returning. The one down side, and I think a lot of people can agree is that this place needs a new location. It’s pretty obnoxious to be stationed smack dab next to a work out facility, a restaurant, not to mention a busy street. There will be uncontrollable noise from every which way no matter how thick the metal is in the tanks. They get very busy it seems around noon as well with 1 guy running the show, which is ok but it would be great to have a designated greeter and someone who helps situate eveyone. All that aside, I really loved the first run, strange at first and then super relaxing. If they moved to somewhat of a secluded area with less external energy I would definitely rave 5 stars. Great place to get your first float in. 4 stars for me.

Went here today and had a great experience. This was my third time floating but my first time at Cloud Nine. The girl working when I came in was very helpful and explained how the tank worked and answered any questions I had. The facilities were all clean and I would definitely go again.

Tremendous! I had heard about float tanks from listening to the Joe Rogan podcast and wanted to try it for myself. A friend referred me to Cloud 9 and I had a great experience. I’ve been back 4 times since then, I’m hooked! Floating is a fantastic way to meditate, I went to places in my mind I never knew existed. The facility itself was clean and quiet, everything I hoped it could be. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have introductory packages for newbies that are very affordable. I can’t say enough good things about Cloud 9. If you’ve been thinking about trying out a Float Tank, do yourself a favor and get over to Cloud 9!

Noisy!!! I couldn’t believe I had to listen to chairs and people jumping around dropping weights. The facility is located next to Jazzercise ?? WTF I had no idea to take such things as noise and location into question when picking a float center over the phone.(thought that part would be figured out for me) The owner was nice enough to explain that I would most likely hear noise during the experience but I wont go back just for that fact. I would say come in after 8 or 9 pm — they do overnights and SKIPLUNCHHOURS

This is a great place. It’s clean and relaxing. The staff does a great job of explaining everything and being accommodating. And the floating experience inside their tanks is as advertised. I went in hoping for true sensory deprivation with no light or sound, and body-temperature water in which I would float without effort, and it was just that. Thanks!

I’ve been looking for a good floatation tank spot since I moved from Chicago, where I used to go to SpaceTime Tanks. I was excited to have found a place so close. I went to Cloud 9 for the first time today and floated in the new(to me) tank. Everything about my experience was fantastic. Danny was very friendly and took me through everything I needed to know. They even had earplugs, which was great because I forgot mine at home. The room was very peaceful — it felt great to be floating after years of not doing it. I feel great, very relaxed and energized. I will definitely be a regular, and I recommend you check them out.

I tried floating for the first time @ Cloud Nine and loved the experience! It was everything I had hoped for and more in terms of ultimate relaxation and recovery. The facilities are modern, well taken care of, and comfortable. The owner was there and explained everything to us simply and made us feel very comfortable as first-timers. I would highly recommend Cloud Nine and can’t wait to return!

My husband and I had been talking about trying floating for the past year or so. However, it has always seemed too expensive. On our honeymoon, we saw a Groupon Now deal for $ 29 for a 90 minute therapeutic float session for this place in Boulder. We jumped on it! When I called, I asked what the latest appointment they had was and Danny told me 7, but added that if I needed something later he could make that happen! Wow! On a Saturday! I was already impressed with the ease of making the appointment. When we got there we were 5 minutes late because we passed by the place a couple of times.(Its on upper level) Danny was very kind and said we had plenty of time and was clearly not concerned at all. He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions and not in a rude or condescending way like we’ve all experienced wayyy too many times. I expected him to go on and on about not breaking the lid on the tank as it was in writing in the forms we filled out, but he didn’t. We had a great experience! Highly recommend! A few things to improve or add: a near by switch that turns celling light off for before and after shower, the guy turned the lights off, but I couldn’t see, so had to turn on for my shower and then remember to turn back off after shower An extra towel for women with long hair– I would’ve paid $ 2 extra for an extra towel for drying hair and throwing on the floor to have dry space to put socks on with soaked hair is difficult an area to blow dry hair and provided blow dryer for when it’s freezing out.

Let’s talk about phenomenal experiences. One of mine happened right here at Cloud Nine Float center. A friend had mentioned the many benefits of «floating,» which I had never heard of before. The Universe decided to catapult me toward the idea by slapping a Groupon up for this place, like, 48 hours after I’d been introduced to the concept. (PS — it appears they’re on some kind of schedule, possibly, through Groupon, around the final week of the month) I bought a 90-minute float for my first experience. You have the option of 60– or 90-minute sessions. Actually, instead of writing out the entire float process, let me speak specifically to the business. Danny was excellent in regard to communication beforehand and assistance with understanding what was to happen. Very laid-back, very soothing atmosphere. The individual rooms were clean, peaceful, and very private. During the session, you have the option to listen to a variety of different types of music or nature sounds. You also have the option of silence. I didn’t know which would suit me better, so I got 45 minutes of music, and 45 minutes of silence. I preferred the silence. My friend did the same thing and preferred the music. It’s the closest thing to zero gravity you will likely experience; unless, of course, you become an astronaut. It did amazing things for my stress reduction. It also helped me feel more rested(not necessarily more awake, but definitely functioning better). I intend to make visits to Cloud Nine a regular occurrence, for sure. Here are the few things I would have liked to have understood a bit better beforehand, for the uninformed: Don’t drink for several hours before the float session. I went to the restroom right before I went into the tank, and 45 minutes later, I found myself only able to focus on how badly I needed to pee(again). And there aren’t individual toilets in the float rooms. Next time I’m scheduled for a 60-minute float. I think it’s better for those of us with smaller bladders. Also, when they say it’s slippery? ITISSLIPPERY. Take your time in there. Oh, and don’t wear contacts, or remember to pack a contact lens case. Listen to the owners, as they do really know what they’re talking about. And while it does say it’s in Boulder, it’s far away from downtown. From Foothills Pkwy(I came down 36 from Denver), it took me maybe five minutes to reach my destination. It’s right near Boulder Dinner Theater, if that helps.
