This place has awesome sandwiches. I got the chicken basil and bacon and the potato salad and both were excellent. Only downside is it is a bit expensive. About $ 10 a meal if you don’t get a drink.

Their lunch is AWESOME! Everything I’ve ever had there was so tasty. I keep wanting to post a pic, but I always eat it first! The chicken basil sandwich is my fave– soft, chewy bread with lil breads holes and yummy chicken and yeah, a little bacon, and some aoli or something amazing. All the sides are good too, I get a salad usually with orange balsamic dressing. Everything=good, and the people there are nice too. I don’t usually pay $ 10 for a sandwich and side, but I never regret it at Etai’s.

Delicious food and coffee, friendly and fast service, nice outdoor seating. What’s not to love? My only complaint is that the sandwiches are a lot of food and I wish there were more small or half-sandwich options, but that’s a minor issue. The half-salads are a good size. Favorites: the Asian pear salad, the Reuben, and the breakfast sandwich. Bring back the Jerusalem chicken sandwich please!

What a surprising little gem in the Jenny Smoley Caruthers Biotech Building… I’ve stopped here often for a bit of Joe before a meeting or two, but this was my first lunch experience. I met a friend here who recommended both the Thai sandwich and the power salad. I opted for the power salad(Quinoa, arugula, goat cheese, cranberries, etc.) because I knew I would be having a rather heavy dinner. The large was MORE than enough food for one. Now I know! In any case, I am sure that I’ll be back. Fresh, delicious, lite lunch. What’s not to like?
